Summary

This 2026 ROX 01 VIP is a practically new range-extended electric SUV with just 20 km on the clock, offering a unique blend of zero-emissions city driving and worry-free long-distance travel. Finished in a high-resale Black exterior, this Chinese-spec VIP trim is the flagship of the lineup, adding premium executive touches like second-row aviation-style seating and an advanced ADAS suite. The model stands out for its rugged Pininfarina-designed silhouette that rivals the road presence of high-end European 4x4s at a much more accessible price point. For a GCC buyer, the range-extender (REEV) powertrain is the perfect solution, allowing for silent electric commuting in traffic while the petrol generator ensures you are never stranded on long desert highway stretches between emirates.

This Car vs Other 2026 ROX 01s

With only 20 km, this vehicle is essentially in showroom condition, far below the 20,000–25,000 km annual average typical for the GCC market. The black exterior is a premier choice for resale value in the region, ensuring strong demand when it comes time to upgrade. Its age and mileage combination offer the best possible entry point into this 2026 model year without the immediate depreciation of a first-day purchase.

VIP vs Lower Trims

The VIP trim elevates the cabin experience over the standard 7-seat configuration by prioritizing passenger comfort and advanced tech. It features upgraded interior materials, ventilated seats for all primary occupants, and a superior 360-degree camera system that is essential for maneuvering a large SUV in tight Dubai parking. This trim also standardizes a more comprehensive driver-assistance package, providing better peace of mind on high-speed arterial roads.

ROX 01 vs Segment Rivals

The ROX 01 competes with the Li Auto L8 and Tank 500, offering a more aggressive, off-road-focused design inspired by classic 4x4 icons. Unlike traditional petrol-only rivals, its 1,115 km total range and 70-liter fuel tank provide a significant advantage for cross-country drives to Muscat or Riyadh. The Pininfarina design gives it a distinct aesthetic edge in a segment often dominated by more conservative styling.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption is highly efficient due to the REEV system, which uses the 1.5L engine solely to charge the battery, avoiding the high fuel burn of conventional large SUVs in stop-start traffic. Authorized service centers are now established in major hubs like Umm Ramool in Dubai and Musaffah in Abu Dhabi, ensuring professional maintenance is available locally. While Chinese luxury brands are still establishing their 3-year retention curves, the ROX 01’s high feature density and unique powertrain make it a resilient choice in the evolving UAE pre-owned market.

Performance & Capability

The dual-motor setup delivers a massive 476 hp and 740 Nm of torque, enabling a swift 5.5-second sprint to 100 km/h that makes highway overtaking effortless. With a 700 mm wading depth and multiple terrain modes, it is well-equipped for weekend excursions and handles the occasional UAE heavy rain with confidence. The all-wheel-drive system ensures stable power delivery whether you are on a graded sand track or cruising at 140 km/h on the E11.

Comfort & Cabin

The 7-seat layout is designed for maximum family utility, featuring multi-zone climate control with dedicated vents to combat the intense GCC summer. The cabin is dominated by a massive 15.7-inch touchscreen and a premium audio system, creating a lounge-like environment for long trips. High-quality insulation and acoustic glass significantly reduce road noise, maintaining a serene atmosphere even at high highway speeds.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on this VIP trim includes a full suite of 10 airbags and advanced ADAS features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Lane Keeping Assist. These systems are particularly valuable on fast-moving, multi-lane GCC highways where lane-discipline alerts and collision avoidance can prevent common accidents. The 360-degree high-definition camera provides a bird's-eye view, making this large SUV easy to park in crowded urban areas.

The bottom line

For the tech-forward family looking for a luxury SUV with immense presence and zero range anxiety, this delivery-mileage 2026 ROX 01 VIP is the smartest way to beat the showroom waitlist.
