Summary

The 2026 ROX 01 is a game-changer for GCC families who want the quiet efficiency of an EV without the range anxiety of a pure battery-electric vehicle. Its range-extender setup is perfectly suited for the long-distance hauls between Emirates, offering over 1,100 km of combined travel. In a market where white and black SUVs dominate, this Green exterior stands out as a unique choice that still maintains strong regional appeal for adventure seekers. This All Round trim offers a sophisticated balance of luxury and genuine off-road hardware, making it a compelling alternative to established luxury crossovers. With virtually zero mileage on this 2026 model, you are securing a futuristic family cruiser at the peak of its value cycle.

This Car vs Other 2026 ROX 01s

As a brand-new 2026 model, this vehicle represents the latest in EREV technology with no wear or tear. While typical used cars in the UAE cover 20,000 km annually, this car provides a pristine starting point for a buyer looking to avoid the maintenance history of older imports. The Green paint is a distinctive, premium hue that aligns well with the growing trend for 'expedition-style' luxury vehicles in the GCC.

ALL ROUND vs Lower Trims

The All Round trim is the sweet spot for GCC buyers, providing the full-scale 7-seat configuration that families in the region prioritize. Unlike base variants, this trim ensures the cabin is equipped with high-performance cooling and the full suite of Nappa leather comfort. It often includes the critical adaptive damping system (DCC), which is essential for maintaining ride quality on the UAE's varied road surfaces.

01 vs Segment Rivals

The ROX 01 directly challenges the Li Auto L8 and AITO M7, leading with a more rugged, boxy aesthetic that appeals to those who appreciate a Land Rover-inspired silhouette. It offers a larger 56 kWh battery than many rivals, providing more pure-electric range for daily city commuting in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. Its 700 mm wading depth and dedicated sand modes give it an edge for weekend camping trips compared to more road-biased Chinese crossovers.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel use is exceptionally low for a 7-seat SUV, as the 1.5L engine only acts as a generator for the electric motors. In GCC city traffic, you can drive almost exclusively on battery power, while the 70L fuel tank ensures you won't need to hunt for chargers on cross-country trips. As a newer brand in the region, maintenance is supported by an expanding network of specialized EV service centers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Value retention for EREVs is currently stabilizing in the UAE as more buyers realize the practical benefits of this powertrain in high-temperature climates.

Performance & Capability

With 476 hp and 740 Nm of torque, this SUV offers effortless overtaking power on the E11 highway, hitting 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds. The e-AWD system provides instant torque distribution, which is particularly effective for maintaining traction on loose gravel or sandy tracks during desert excursions. Its 205 mm ground clearance and 45-degree climbing capability ensure it handles more than just the school run.

Comfort & Cabin

The 7-seat cabin is designed for the extreme heat of the Middle East, featuring a powerful three-zone climate control system and ventilated front seats. High-quality insulation keeps the interior exceptionally quiet, even when the petrol generator is active at highway speeds. Passengers benefit from a massive 15.7-inch central display and premium materials throughout, ensuring long family road trips remain comfortable.

Safety

Standard safety features on this trim include a 360-degree high-definition camera system and a full suite of ADAS technologies. For the fast-moving, multi-lane highways of the GCC, the blind-spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control are indispensable. The high-strength steel and aluminum body construction provides a robust safety cell, while multiple airbags offer comprehensive protection for all three rows of passengers.

The bottom line

For the tech-forward family that needs a spacious 7-seater but wants to slash their fuel bill, this 2026 ROX 01 is an unbeatable opportunity to jump into the future of luxury SUVs.
