Summary

This 2026 Suzuki Jimny GLX 5-door represents a rare chance to own a near-delivery mileage icon with only 697 km on the clock. Finished in Black, a versatile and high-demand color in the GCC, this vehicle offers significantly better resale prospects than non-standard shades. As a 5-door variant, it bridges the gap between legendary off-road capability and the passenger accessibility needed for daily life in the Emirates. Given its 0-year age and GCC specification, this Jimny side-steps the long waiting lists typical for new units while retaining its full factory warranty and service integrity. It is the definitive choice for the buyer who wants a rugged trail-ready machine that is equally comfortable navigating tight urban parking in Dubai or Riyadh.

This Car vs Other 2026 Jimnys

With just 697 km recorded, this Jimny is in near-delivery condition, far below the typical 20,000 km annual average for GCC-based vehicles. While many 2026 models are already seeing heavy use on desert weekends, this unit offers a fresh start with zero mechanical wear. The Black exterior is a neutral, professional choice that holds value exceptionally well in the local second-hand market compared to brighter heritage colors.

GLX vs Lower Trims

The GLX trim is a significant upgrade over the base GL, most notably adding the 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity. Safety and convenience are elevated with the addition of a 360-degree camera system and LED projector headlamps, which are essential for nighttime desert excursions. Inside, the GLX also features a leather-wrapped steering wheel and automatic climate control, providing a more refined environment than the utilitarian base model.

Jimny vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the Nissan Kicks or Hyundai Creta offer more interior volume, the Jimny stands alone with its body-on-frame construction and a genuine low-range transfer case. It is purpose-built for technical off-roading where monocoque crossovers cannot follow. Its compact 4.9m turning radius also makes it far more maneuverable in dense city traffic than larger 4x4s like the Jeep Wrangler.

Running Costs & Resale

The 1.5L engine is remarkably efficient for a 4x4, averaging roughly 6.9 L/100km in combined GCC driving. Suzuki maintains one of the most extensive authorized service networks across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, ensuring affordable maintenance and part availability. Historically, the Jimny commands some of the highest residual values in the region, often retaining over 85% of its value after three years due to its cult status and mechanical simplicity.

Performance & Capability

The AllGrip Pro 4WD system is the heart of this vehicle, featuring a dedicated low-range gear for crawling through soft sand or steep rocky terrain. Its 210 mm ground clearance and short overhangs provide approach and departure angles that rival much more expensive luxury off-roaders. While the 100 hp output is modest, the vehicle's lightweight ladder-frame chassis ensures it stays afloat on dunes where heavier SUVs might sink.

Comfort & Cabin

The 5-door configuration significantly improves rear-seat access, making the second row genuinely usable for two adults or child seats. To combat the extreme GCC summer, the GLX features a high-output air conditioning system designed to cool the cabin rapidly. The interior is finished in durable materials meant to withstand sand and dust, while the upgraded 9-inch display provides a modern touch to the rugged dashboard.

Safety

Standard safety features on this GLX trim include six airbags, Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), and Hill Descent Control, which is invaluable for controlled navigation on steep dunes. The 360-degree camera system provides excellent visibility in both tight parking spots and technical off-road sections. Unlike many compact SUVs, the Jimny includes ISOFIX child seat anchors as standard, ensuring family safety remains a priority.

The bottom line

This is a collector-grade 5-door Jimny that offers the perfect entry point for someone wanting a brand-new GCC off-roader without the wait times or high-mileage risks of the used market.
