Summary

This 2019 Range Rover Velar S is a standout choice in the GCC market, offering a rare combination of very low mileage for its 7-year age and a highly desirable white exterior that ensures strong resale value across the region. With its 2.0-liter turbocharged engine delivering 250 hp, it provides a refined balance of performance and fuel efficiency that is well-suited for both city commutes in Dubai and long-range highway cruising to Abu Dhabi or Muscat. As an 'S' trim, it bridges the gap between the base model and high-end variants by including premium leather upholstery and an upgraded Meridian audio system, making it a sophisticated daily driver. For a GCC buyer, the All Wheel Drive system and Terrain Response offer peace of mind during desert weekend escapes or rainy seasonal transitions, while the sleek silhouette remains one of the most modern designs in the luxury SUV segment.

This Car vs Other 2019 Range Rover Velars

At just 35,253 km, this Velar has been driven significantly less than the typical GCC average of 20,000 km per year, which would usually place a vehicle of this age at over 140,000 km. The Fuji White exterior is not only the most popular color for heat rejection in the intense UAE summer but also represents one of the strongest resale colors in the regional used market. This specific example offers a mechanical freshness that is hard to find in the 2019 model year segment.

S vs Lower Trims

The S trim provides essential upgrades over the base Velar, most notably replacing simulated Luxtec with genuine perforated grained leather upholstery and adding 19-inch alloy wheels. Technology is significantly enhanced with the inclusion of an 11-speaker, 380-watt Meridian sound system and Navigation Pro, alongside practical features like a power gesture tailgate and signature LED daytime running lights that are highly valued by buyers in this region.

Range Rover Velar vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Porsche Macan or BMW X4, the Velar leads with its minimalist interior aesthetic and superior cargo flexibility, offering up to 748 liters of boot space. While rivals focus purely on on-road dynamics, the Velar maintains Land Rover's pedigree with a 600mm wading depth and Terrain Response system, providing more confidence when navigating sand-covered roads or gravel paths during regional exploration.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 2.0-liter P250 engine typically averages around 10.0 L/100km, which is efficient for a luxury SUV in GCC stop-start traffic. Land Rover has an extensive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, with recommended service intervals of 16,000 km or 12 months. GCC spec models like this one retain value significantly better than American or European imports due to localized cooling systems and manufacturer warranty compatibility.

Performance & Capability

The turbocharged 4-cylinder engine produces 250 hp and 365 Nm of torque, enabling smooth overtaking on fast-moving UAE highways and a 0-100 km/h sprint of 7.5 seconds. The 8-speed automatic transmission is tuned for refinement, while the All Wheel Drive system works with Intelligent Driveline Dynamics to maintain traction on varying surfaces. Despite its urban styling, it features selectable drive modes for grass, gravel, and snow, ensuring it can handle light desert terrain with ease.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of technology, featuring the Touch Pro Duo dual-screen setup that keeps the interior clutter-free. Standard dual-zone climate control and rear cooling vents ensure passenger comfort during the peak of the GCC summer, while the acoustic laminated windshield insulates the cabin from exterior heat and road noise. The power-reclining rear seats allow for long-distance comfort on cross-border road trips, making it a versatile family SUV.

Safety

This Velar S comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including Lane Departure Warning, Emergency Braking, and front and rear parking sensors with a rearview camera. For high-speed highway driving common in the GCC, the standard Stability Control and Roll Stability Control systems provide an extra layer of protection, while the 6-airbag system contributed to its 5-star safety rating from Euro NCAP.

The bottom line

For the buyer seeking a low-mileage, GCC-spec luxury SUV that looks as modern today as it did at launch, this white Velar S represents a smart acquisition with excellent resale potential.
