Summary

This 2026 Toyota Land Cruiser VX represents a prime opportunity to own the region's most iconic SUV in its most sought-after mechanical configuration. The twin-turbo V6 delivers effortless overtaking power while maintaining the bulletproof reliability Toyota is famous for in the Gulf. With its black exterior, this listing sits in a perennially strong resale category, appealing to local buyers who value both prestige and future value. The Land Cruiser remains the ultimate choice for GCC drivers who require a vehicle that transitions seamlessly from executive city commuting to long-distance desert expeditions. Owning a Land Cruiser in this region means total peace of mind, backed by a service network that spans every corner of the GCC.

This Car vs Other 2026 Land Cruisers

As a brand-new 2026 model, this vehicle offers the latest tech refinements of the LC300 generation with zero wear. The black exterior is a high-demand color in the UAE and Saudi markets, significantly aiding resale liquidity compared to niche shades. It provides the ideal middle ground for those who want flagship performance without the extreme price premium of the GR-Sport or VXR trims.

VX vs Lower Trims

The VX trim serves as the gateway to luxury, adding premium leather upholstery and a 12.3-inch digital cockpit that the GXR and EXR models lack. It features standard ventilated front and second-row seats, which are essential for GCC summers, along with a 14-speaker JBL audio system. You also benefit from a powered third row and the full-size 12.3-inch infotainment display with integrated navigation.

Land Cruiser vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Nissan Patrol, the Land Cruiser offers superior fuel tank range for long desert crossings and a more extensive service network in remote GCC areas. While American rivals like the Chevrolet Tahoe offer more total volume, the Land Cruiser leads in heavy-duty reliability and the ability to hold its value over a 5-year ownership cycle. Its body-on-frame construction remains the standard for durability in extreme heat.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.5L twin-turbo V6 averages approximately 12 L/100km in combined GCC driving, benefiting from the 10-speed transmission during highway hauls. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km, with authorized centers readily available in every major city across the UAE and KSA. The Land Cruiser holds one of the highest residual values in the region, typically retaining 75–80% of its value after three years.

Performance & Capability

With 409 hp and 650 Nm of torque, this SUV manages the 0–100 km/h sprint in roughly 6.8 seconds, ensuring confident highway merging. The 245 mm ground clearance and full-time 4WD system with Crawl Control and Multi-Terrain Select make it a formidable off-roader for Liwa or Fossil Rock weekends. It is factory-rated for a 3,500 kg braked towing capacity, easily handling large boat trailers or campers.

Comfort & Cabin

The seven-seat layout is designed for maximum family utility, featuring a four-zone climate control system with high-output rear vents to combat 50-degree heat. The center console includes a factory refrigerator (Cool Box) to keep drinks chilled during long drives between emirates. Acoustic glass and improved insulation ensure the cabin remains quiet even at high cruising speeds on the E11.

Safety

Standard safety features include the full Toyota Safety Sense suite with Pre-Collision System, Lane Trace Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control for relaxed highway travel. A 360-degree panoramic view monitor makes navigating tight city parking in Dubai or Riyadh effortless. The vehicle is equipped with 10 airbags and advanced stability control specifically tuned for both paved roads and loose sand surfaces.

The bottom line

This Land Cruiser VX is the perfect match for a GCC professional who needs a prestigious, indestructible family SUV that will lose less value over time than almost anything else on the road.
