Summary

This 2026 Land Cruiser VXR in Grey is a premier choice for those seeking the ultimate balance between high-end luxury and legendary durability. The VXR trim sits at the top of the range, offering a sophisticated interior that matches its world-class off-road performance. As a diesel model, it provides exceptional range and torque, making it a highly practical and reliable workhorse for both the city and the desert. Grey remains one of the most stable colors for resale in the GCC, ensuring this vehicle maintains its value exceptionally well over time. For the serious buyer, this listing represents a chance to own the latest generation of a GCC icon with a highly desirable powertrain.

This Car vs Other 2026 Land Cruisers

While typical GCC annual mileage for an SUV in this segment is around 25,000 km, this newer model year offers a fresh opportunity for long-term ownership. The Grey exterior is a resilient choice for the local environment, resisting the visible effects of dust and heat better than darker tones. In the used market, this VXR trim consistently commands a premium over the GXR due to its higher tech integration and refined cabin finishes.

VXR vs Lower Trims

The VXR significantly upgrades the ownership experience over the GXR and EXR trims by adding Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) for a smoother ride across both sand and tarmac. Inside, it features a larger 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a 14-speaker JBL premium sound system, and a 360-degree Panoramic View Monitor. Standard ventilated seats for both front and second-row passengers provide essential relief during the peak of the GCC summer.

Land Cruiser vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Nissan Patrol or Land Rover Defender, the Land Cruiser 300 Series leads in long-distance range thanks to its 110-litre dual fuel tank configuration. Its 3.3L twin-turbo diesel engine offers a massive 700 Nm of torque, providing superior low-end pull for heavy towing or soft-sand recovery. The massive GCC-wide authorized service network for Toyota ensures that parts and expert maintenance are available in even the most remote areas.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.3L diesel engine is significantly more efficient than the petrol V6 in GCC stop-start traffic, with a claimed combined figure of approximately 8.9 L/100km. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km, supported by the most extensive authorized service network in the region. Land Cruisers maintain the strongest resale value in the GCC, typically depreciating only 8-10% annually, which is significantly lower than European luxury rivals.

Performance & Capability

The twin-turbo diesel produces 302 hp and a staggering 700 Nm of torque, enabling effortless highway overtaking and heavy-duty towing up to 3,500 kg. With a maximum ground clearance of 235 mm and a wading depth of 700 mm, it is purpose-built for the challenging terrain of the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Selectable Multi-Terrain Select modes and a Torsen limited-slip differential allow for expert navigation through deep sand, rocks, or mud.

Comfort & Cabin

The VXR cabin is a masterclass in functional luxury, featuring seven seats upholstered in premium leather with walnut wood grain accents. Four-zone climate control ensures every passenger stays cool, while the cooled center console box keeps drinks chilled during long cross-border drives. Rear-seat passengers enjoy dedicated entertainment screens, and the cabin is well-insulated to provide a quiet, executive environment away from the harsh outside heat.

Safety

Equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, the VXR includes a full suite of active safety technologies such as Pre-Collision System, Lane Trace Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control. These systems are particularly valuable on long highway stretches like the E11, providing fatigue reduction and emergency intervention. The trim also includes 10 airbags, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert to ensure maximum protection in heavy urban traffic.

The bottom line

This 2026 Land Cruiser VXR is the definitive choice for a GCC buyer who refuses to choose between premium luxury and absolute reliability. With its efficient diesel powertrain and high-retention Grey color, it is a smart long-term investment for family adventures and executive commuting alike.
