Summary

This 2026 Toyota Land Cruiser VX is a benchmark for reliability and resale in the GCC, offering a virtually new 5 km odometer reading that makes it a prime alternative to a showroom order. The Black exterior is a high-demand choice across the region, ensuring the strongest possible value retention and a commanding presence on the road. As a VX trim, it bridges the gap between rugged utility and executive luxury, featuring a sophisticated cabin that rivals dedicated luxury SUVs while maintaining legendary Land Cruiser durability. For a buyer in the UAE or Saudi Arabia, the combination of Toyota's bulletproof V6 powertrain and the expansive regional support network provides unmatched peace of mind for both daily city use and trans-border highway travel.

This Car vs Other 2026 Land Cruisers

With just 5 km on the clock, this Land Cruiser sits in the lowest mileage bracket for the 2026 model year, effectively offering a new-car experience without the standard dealer wait times. While the average GCC Land Cruiser covers 25,000 km annually, this example represents a total preservation of mechanical life and warranty. The Black finish is a tier-one resale color in the local market, making this specific listing a safer long-term asset than more niche or lighter paint options.

VX vs Lower Trims

The VX trim significantly upgrades the ownership experience over the GXR and EXR models by introducing a 12.3-inch high-resolution multimedia screen and a premium 14-speaker JBL audio system as standard. GCC buyers will particularly value the addition of ventilated front seats and a four-zone climate control system, ensuring all seven passengers remain comfortable during peak summer heat. It also adds a more comprehensive driver-assistance suite, including a 360° panoramic view monitor which is essential for navigating tight urban parking in major GCC cities.

Land Cruiser vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Nissan Patrol, the Land Cruiser 300 series benefits from a more modern 10-speed automatic transmission that offers smoother highway cruising and better fuel management on long drives between emirates. While European rivals like the BMW X7 offer road-biased luxury, the Land Cruiser leads the segment with its body-on-frame durability and a massive 110-litre fuel capacity, designed for the vast distances of the Saudi and Omani deserts. Its parts availability remains the highest in the region, ensuring that even in remote areas, specialized service is always accessible.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.5L twin-turbo V6 delivers an official combined fuel consumption of approximately 9.4 to 10.1 km/L, a notable improvement for a full-size SUV in GCC stop-start traffic. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it retains the highest market trust, qualifying for full agency service contracts and regional warranties that do not apply to imported specs. Historically, the Land Cruiser loses only about 8-10% of its value annually in the UAE and Saudi markets, significantly outperforming the 15-20% depreciation seen in luxury European competitors.

Performance & Capability

The twin-turbocharged engine produces 409 hp and 650 Nm of torque, providing effortless overtaking power on the 140 km/h highways connecting GCC capitals. With a maximum ground clearance of 235 mm and a wading depth of 700 mm, it is engineered to handle extreme conditions from sudden wadi floods to deep desert sands. The permanent All-Wheel Drive system is supported by Multi-Terrain Select and Crawl Control, allowing even novice drivers to navigate challenging terrain with confidence.

Comfort & Cabin

The seven-seat cabin is a sanctuary of GCC-specific comfort, featuring powerful rear AC vents that are widely regarded as the best in the segment for rapid cooling. The VX trim includes premium leather upholstery with wood-grain accents, creating a refined atmosphere for executive commuting or family road trips. Quietness is improved over previous generations thanks to acoustic glass and enhanced insulation, making long-distance drives across the Arabian Peninsula remarkably fatigue-free.

Safety

Safety is managed by the Toyota Safety Sense suite, which includes Pre-Collision System, Lane Departure Alert, and Adaptive Cruise Control, highly useful for long desert highway stretches. The VX comes standard with a full array of 10 airbags and Vehicle Stability Control, providing a 5-star level of protection. Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert are included to manage the fast-moving, multi-lane traffic common in Dubai and Riyadh.

The bottom line

This is the ideal opportunity for a GCC buyer who wants a brand-new 2026 Land Cruiser in the most desirable resale color without the showroom delay, backed by the region's strongest service network.
