Toyota Prado ALL ROUNDER G

Highlights

• 500 Nm of torque
• 110-litre dual fuel tank standard
• Extensive GCC authorised service network

Summary

This 2026 Toyota Prado All-Rounder G represents a highly strategic choice for the GCC market, offering the preferred 2.8L turbo-diesel powertrain that balances massive low-end torque with superior fuel efficiency. Finished in white, the strongest resale color in the region, this 7-seater SUV is engineered for both heavy-duty desert expeditions and high-mileage highway commuting. The All-Rounder G trim is specifically configured for mechanical resilience, making it a favorite for regional tour operators and families who prioritize longevity. With a massive 110-litre dual-tank system, it solves the challenge of long-distance travel between major GCC cities like Dubai and Riyadh. For a buyer seeking the latest J250 generation with the most dependable engine configuration, this listing is a standout opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2026 Prados

As a brand-new model year, this Prado avoids the high annual mileage typically seen on used GCC workhorses, which often exceeds 25,000 km. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the local market, ensuring it stays cooler in summer and retains a significantly higher resale value than darker alternatives. Choosing this specific diesel variant provides a range and torque advantage that few other 2026 SUVs in this price bracket can match.

ALL ROUNDER G vs Lower Trims

The All-Rounder G trim upgrades the experience with essential GCC features like ventilated front seats and a factory-integrated cool box, which are often absent on base TX utility trims. It also benefits from the larger 12.3-inch infotainment display and a power-operated rear door, adding a layer of daily convenience required for family use. Mechanically, it includes the dual 80L+30L tank system, providing a theoretical range of over 1,300 km that base single-tank models cannot offer.

Prado vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Ford Everest or Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Prado leads with its 110-litre fuel capacity, which is essential for cross-border GCC travel. While rivals might focus on pure on-road horsepower, the Prado’s 500 Nm of torque is specifically tuned for crawling through soft sand and towing in extreme heat. Its 215 mm ground clearance and specialized diesel cooling system give it a distinct edge in durability over monocoque-based family crossovers.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.8L diesel engine is known for its efficiency, typically returning between 7.9 and 10.0 L/100km depending on GCC traffic conditions, which is significantly better than the V6 petrol alternatives. Toyota enjoys the most extensive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, ensuring parts are always available and maintenance costs remain predictable. Historically, the Prado maintains one of the highest value retention rates in the GCC, with depreciation averaging only 8-10% annually compared to 15% or more for European luxury rivals.

Performance & Capability

The engine delivers a muscular 500 Nm of torque from as low as 1,600 rpm, providing the low-end grunt needed for navigating dunes or overtaking at highway speeds. This power is managed by a new 8-speed automatic transmission and a full-time 4WD system featuring a Torsen limited-slip center differential for precise traction. With a 215 mm ground clearance and standard High/Low range transfer case, it is fully equipped for weekend adventures in Liwa or the Hajar Mountains.

Comfort & Cabin

The seven-seat layout is designed for flexibility, with a flat-folding third row that accommodates large families or significant camping gear. GCC-specific comfort is handled by a high-output multi-zone climate control system with dedicated rear vents to ensure all passengers stay cool during the peak of summer. The cabin also features acoustic glass to reduce road noise on long desert highway drives and a refrigerated center console for chilled refreshments.

Safety

This trim includes the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 suite, featuring full-speed adaptive cruise control and lane tracing assist, which are invaluable for the long highway stretches between emirates. It is equipped with a comprehensive airbag system and blind-spot monitoring to assist in fast-moving multi-lane traffic. Additional off-road safety systems like Hill-Start Assist and Vehicle Stability Control come standard to maintain composure on varied surfaces.

The bottom line

This 2026 Prado All-Rounder G is the perfect match for a GCC buyer who wants the legendary reliability of a diesel 4x4 paired with the modern technology and comfort of the new J250 generation.
