Summary

This 2026 Prado All Rounder G marks a major generational leap, replacing the old naturally aspirated engines with a high-torque 2.4-litre turbocharged powertrain. Finished in black, it occupies the most desirable resale position in the GCC market, offering a professional look that holds its value exceptionally well. This trim specifically adds the modern 12.3-inch touchscreen and essential desert hardware like a center differential lock and multi-terrain modes as standard. For a GCC buyer, this model represents the perfect balance of daily urban refinement and the legendary body-on-frame durability required for weekend desert expeditions.

This Car vs Other 2026 Prados

As a brand-new 2026 model, this Prado features zero-meter mileage, a significant advantage in a region where the average annual use typically exceeds 25,000 km. The black exterior is one of the top three resale colors in the GCC, ensuring faster liquidity and higher price retention compared to more niche shades. Choosing a GCC-spec 2026 model also guarantees full compatibility with local authorized service networks and a cooling system specifically engineered for 50°C summer peaks.

ALL ROUNDER G vs Lower Trims

The All Rounder G trim is a significant step up from the base TXR, adding the high-resolution 12.3-inch display audio system and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. It also introduces critical comfort features for the Gulf climate, such as ventilated and heated front seats and a center console cool box. For off-road enthusiasts, this trim includes the Stabilizer Disconnect Mechanism (SDM) and Multi-Terrain Select, features often absent on more basic, road-biased versions.

Prado vs Segment Rivals

The Prado leads rivals like the Ford Everest and Nissan Pathfinder with its massive 110-litre dual-tank system, providing a massive highway range for long-distance trips between Emirates or across borders. While the Everest focuses on tech, the Prado’s TNGA-F body-on-frame platform offers superior durability for serious sand driving. Additionally, Toyota's unrivaled service footprint across every GCC country gives it a practical advantage over newer segment entrants.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.4L turbo settles around 10.6 km/L, though this varies during stop-start city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh. Service intervals are standard at 10,000 km or 6 months, and the massive network of authorized centers ensures parts are readily available even in remote areas. As a Japanese-spec SUV in the GCC, the Prado typically sees one of the lowest depreciation rates in the market, often retaining over 85% of its value after the first three years.

Performance & Capability

The 2.4-litre turbocharged engine delivers a robust 430 Nm of torque, which is particularly useful for low-speed crawling in soft sand and effortless highway overtaking. The full-time 4WD system works in tandem with a center differential lock and selectable terrain modes to handle everything from rocky wadis to high dunes. With 205 mm of ground clearance and a 700 mm wading depth, it remains a genuinely capable off-roader that doesn't sacrifice on-road stability at high cruising speeds.

Comfort & Cabin

The seven-seat cabin is designed with the GCC family in mind, featuring dual automatic air conditioning with dedicated rear vents to combat extreme heat. Synthetic leather upholstery provides a durable surface for sandy weekend trips, while the ventilated front seats are a vital inclusion for summer comfort. Tech is well-integrated, featuring wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and six USB-C charging ports distributed across all three rows for passenger convenience.

Safety

The All Rounder G comes equipped with the full Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 suite, including Pre-Collision System with pedestrian detection, Lane Departure Alert, and Blind Spot Monitoring, which is essential for fast-moving GCC highway traffic. It also features a 360-degree Multi-Terrain Monitor for navigating tight off-road trails and adaptive cruise control for long-distance cruising. Multiple airbags and advanced stability control come as standard, providing a top-tier safety environment for family use.

The bottom line

This 2026 Prado All Rounder G is the ideal choice for a buyer who needs a professional daily driver that can transition seamlessly into a high-performance desert explorer. With zero mileage and a high-demand GCC specification, it represents a secure, low-depreciation investment in the current market.
