Summary

This 2027 model represents the absolute latest in the iconic G-Class bloodline, featuring the updated 48-volt mild-hybrid powertrain that smooths out urban driving without sacrificing its legendary V8 roar. With only delivery mileage on the odometer, this is effectively a brand-new vehicle, offering a rare bypass of waitlists for the current model year. The Obsidian Black exterior is the definitive color for resale in the GCC, ensuring maximum value retention in a market that prizes this specific aesthetic. As a European spec, it brings a high level of interior finish and tech integration that makes it a sophisticated daily driver from Dubai to Riyadh. This is the ultimate statement SUV that manages to be both a luxury lounge and a mechanically unstoppable off-roader.

This Car vs Other 2027 G63 AMGs

With just 64 km, this example is in pristine, showroom condition, effectively serving as a delivery-mileage alternative to a factory order. While average annual use for G-Wagons in the UAE often hits 20,000 km due to inter-emirate highway travel, this car’s negligible mileage represents a significant longevity and resale advantage. The black-on-black configuration remains the most liquid asset in the GCC luxury market, historically selling faster than more experimental Manufaktur shades.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The AMG G63 sits at the top of the G-Class hierarchy, adding the handcrafted V8 engine and the AMG Ride Control adaptive suspension which is essential for stabilizing the vehicle's tall profile at highway speeds. Unlike the standard G500, the G63 features the signature side-exit exhaust system and 20-inch AMG-specific wheels that define the model's presence. Inside, it gains the AMG Performance steering wheel and upgraded Nappa leather as standard, providing the tactile quality expected in the premium SUV segment.

G63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

The G63 stands alone against rivals like the Range Rover SV and the Lamborghini Urus by utilizing a traditional body-on-frame construction and triple mechanical locking differentials, offering genuine off-road hardware that road-biased competitors lack. While the Urus focuses on track-like agility, the G63 leads in vertical presence and cabin headroom, making it more comfortable for taller occupants during long GCC desert drives. Its upright greenhouse also provides superior 360-degree visibility, a major advantage in dense city traffic.

Running Costs & Resale

The updated mild-hybrid system helps manage fuel consumption, though owners should expect roughly 14.7 L/100km in mixed driving, with city figures rising during heavy stop-start traffic in Riyadh or Dubai. Service intervals are typically every 15,000 km or 12 months, supported by an exceptionally strong authorized service network across the UAE, KSA, and Kuwait. The G-Class holds value better than almost any other luxury SUV in the region, with 3-year residual values often hovering around 72% of the original purchase price. As a European spec vehicle, buyers should verify local warranty compatibility with the authorized distributor.

Performance & Capability

The 585 hp handcrafted V8 delivers a 0-100 km/h time of 4.3 seconds, an astonishing figure for a vehicle with a 9.5-inch ground clearance. Power is managed by the AMG Speedshift 9-speed transmission and permanent all-wheel drive with a 40:60 rear-biased torque split for improved on-road agility. For the weekend enthusiast, the low-range transfer case and three independent locking differentials allow it to navigate soft sand dunes that would stop most luxury crossovers.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a blend of rugged heritage and modern tech, featuring the latest MBUX widescreen cockpit with dual 12.3-inch displays. Dedicated rear climate zones and powerful Mercedes-Benz air conditioning ensure the cabin remains a sanctuary even when exterior temperatures exceed 45°C. The five-seat layout offers 37.4 cubic feet of boot space, providing ample room for family shopping trips or weekend gear, while acoustic glass keeps the V8's bark audible but controlled.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes a comprehensive ADAS suite with Active Brake Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, and the vital Blind Spot Assist for multi-lane highway safety. The 360° camera system is particularly useful for maneuvering the G-Class in tight parking spaces, while the Pre-Safe system prepares the cabin for impact if a collision is detected. Multiple airbags and a high-strength steel frame provide a robust safety cell for all five occupants.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own a delivery-mileage 2027 G63 in the region's most desirable color, perfectly suited for the buyer who wants the pinnacle of German engineering without the wait.
