Amidst the global situation, the 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition has arrived in the UAE without any fanfare. Quietly launched in Dubai, the model is somewhat different in comparison to the American Heritage Edition
Without the unique hue, the GCC version of the 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition is available in three colours in the UAE. Black, White and Silver.
Prices start at AED 170,000 for the V6 model and AED 225,000 for the V8 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition.
Little is known about the model, but judging by the pictures, the Heritage Edition is fitted with retro decals.
Cloth upholstery is evident inside with custom embroidery in the front headrests. A unique plaque sits in the middle of the dashboard depicting the rarity of the vehicle.
Upon further inspection, it appears there are slight differences between the two.
V6 models are exclusively manual and is mated to a 4-litre engine. 17-inch steel wheels sit on each corner, and the rear hatch is split into two doors (barn doors) with a spare tyre.
Inside, the plastic gear knob and been replaced with a faux-wood one.
V8 variants are equipped with a 4.6-litre engine and are only available with an automatic gearbox. Noteworthy features include crawl control, an air compressor, black roof rails, chrome grille, fog lights, orange indicators, 17-inch alloys and a 10-inch navigation system.
Stock for both is extremely limited as Al Futtaim reported only has 80 V8 models and 20 V6 variants.
