2021 Hilux gets new headlights and colours

Currently in its eighth generation, and having launched in 2017, its about time for a facelift for the Hilux. It appears we’re not the only ones anticipating this as images of the 2021 Hilux have surfaced online.

According to Miele Motors, the Hilux will receive a mild refresh for the new model year. The computer-generated images show the Hilux with a larger grille similar to that found on US only Tacoma and Tundra models.

Courtesy of the Ducamz based car dealer, we get a closer look at two sets of headlights the 2021 Hilux comes with.

The first set is found on ‘High Grade’ models and consist of Bi-Beam LED’s with Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) and turn signal lamp in a compact, aggressive style.

This trim level is also said to get 18-inch alloys and black metallic painted trim pieces with chrome surround.

Standard or Low-Grade models also receive new headlights with halogen bulbs and LED DRLs. Instead of black paint, the accents are just black material and the variants ride on 17-inch alloys.

Around the back of the sturdy pick up, the rear lights gain LED’s all-around along with a new stylish design.

2021 Hilux

For 2021 Hilux models, three new colours are available including Oxide Bronze, Dark Blue MC and Emotional Red. The first two will be available in select regions whereas the latter is listed as a premium colour.

Don’t expect to see too many of the colour variants in the UAE besides the usually White, Black, Gray and Silver.

There is no mention of when the 2021 Hilux will arrive in the UAE, but you can expect it to arrive later this year. There is speculation that the arrival could be delayed worldwide due to the current global situation.

Dubicars has new Toyota Hilux and used Toyota Hilux for sale in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi.
