

A few weeks ago, the Roads and Transport Authority waived all parking fees across the Emirate. But now that malls and businesses have started to re-open at a 30% capacity, paid parking will resume as of April 26th.
A tweet posted on the RTA’s official account announced the return of the fees.
“Starting Sunday 26 April, public parking willl be a paid service from 8am to 6pm and from 8pm to 12 midnight.”

The RTA also announced that fees for the Metro, buses and taxi’s will return to normal starting Sunday.
As of writing, parking is still free in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
