The Jetour G700 TopFire has officially been launched in the UAE, bringing a more extreme, off-road-focused version of the G700 plug-in hybrid SUV to the local market.

Prices for the Jetour G700 TopFire in the UAE range from AED 229,000 to AED 259,000. Pre-bookings are now open, while test drives and deliveries expected to begin soon.

The TopFire is a factory-customised version of the G700, with upgrades to the suspension, chassis, exterior, and off-road equipment.

Jetour G700 TopFire Design

The TopFire receives several visual and functional changes compared to the regular G700. At the front, it features a redesigned bumper, a revised grille and a ventilated bonnet. Wider wheel arches give the SUV a broader stance, while the body also receives upgraded side steps and a redesigned rear bumper.

It also features a multifunction roof rack, adding extra carrying capacity for outdoor equipment. The G700 TopFire measures approximately 5,272mm in length, 2,150mm in width and 2,043mm in height. Its wider body and increased ride height partly result from the upgraded suspension and chassis setup.

Off-Road Upgrades

The biggest differences between the TopFire and the regular G700 are found underneath the vehicle.

The SUV uses K-MAN nitrogen-filled shock absorbers, designed to improve performance over rough surfaces. The suspension also offers adjustable damping, allowing the setup to suit different driving conditions.

It rides on forged alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain tyres.

The TopFire offers an approach angle of 35 degrees, a departure angle of 29 degrees, and a breakover angle of 24 degrees.

Its maximum claimed water-wading depth is 950mm, making it suitable for deeper water crossings and challenging off-road routes.

The roof is rated to carry up to 100kg while driving and 300kg when stationary. The redesigned bumpers also provide provisions for recovery equipment, including an optional winch installation.

Engine & Performance

The Jetour G700 TopFire continues to use a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with electric motors in a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

The electrified four-wheel-drive system provides strong low-speed torque, an important factor when driving through sand or tackling steep off-road sections.

This enables the TopFire variant to produce 904hp and 1,135Nm. The standard UAE-spec G700 was previously listed with 734hp and 795Nm.

Interior & Features

Inside, the TopFire retains the G700’s technology-focused cabin.

One of its main features is a large 35.4-inch panoramic digital display positioned across the dashboard.

Connectivity features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, voice control and multiple USB ports.

Other available equipment includes leather upholstery, electrically adjustable front seats, ambient lighting and three-zone climate control.

Despite its rugged exterior, the TopFire still offers the comfort and equipment expected of a large premium SUV.

The G700 TopFire comes equipped with a range of driver assistance systems.
