July 2026 Petrol Price In The UAE: Petrol Prices Drop After Four Months

July 2026 petrol prices are out! New petrol prices for July 2026 have arrived in the UAE, with a decrease of up to AED 0.55. The prices of petrol in July 2026 are AED 3.21 for E-Plus 91, AED 3.29 for Special 95, and AED 3.40 for Super 98. These prices will remain in effect from 01 July to 31 July 2026. These new prices have arrived shortly after the UAE exited OPEC in a move which is expected to stabilise fuel prices in the mid to long-term. The impact of this historic move is now visible in fuel prices as the UAE can independently control how much oil it produces. 

Petrol prices in the UAE are linked to global crude oil prices. With crude oil prices dropping in June, a petrol price drop was also expected shortly after.

What Is The Fuel Fill-Up Cost In The UAE?

With the petrol price decreasing, the per-kilometre running costs will also decrease. For a 40-litre fuel tank, one would have to pay AED 22 less. How Is Petrol Price Decided?

Before 2015, the government highly subsidised fuel prices. This protected prices from fluctuating. However, in September 2015, it was liberalised to align with global oil prices. Now, with global crude oil prices fluctuating due to the ongoing crisis, fuel prices have also fluctuated in the last few months. The Fuel Price Committee decides fuel prices in the UAE, and we can expect more changes over the next few months.
