Jaguar XJ SUPER V8

The 2005 Jaguar Super V8 is exactly what the name suggests. It’s a Superb luxury vehicle. These are the BEST Jaguars saloon/sedans ever made in the last 50 years. They were made of aluminum body’s (X350) which made them light and rust proof. They came with decent sized 4200cc V8 engines, which were very powerful and not too thirsty on gas. Then, this car and its smaller sister the XJR got the added benefit of a Supercharger. The result was an incredible 400hp in a four door saloon. Crushing the respective competition from Germany. 0-100 kph in 5 seconds flat!!! Even in today’s cars that is something to behold. Brembo racing brakes that stop it at record distance. Now the Super V8 is the long wheel base of the two cars and adds 5 inches of rear legroom in the back. And if you’re a tall person like me at 190cm this is just not a bonus but necessary for those long rides.


This car cost new close to $100,000 in 2005 which would have been close to 400,000 AED at the time here in Dubai. You can get this gem today for 1/8 of its original price and enjoy it for many years to come. This generation of Jaguars have a bulletproof reliability reputation. They have the classic combination of real wood (Not plastic looking wood in BMW or Mercedes), Genuine Connolly leather with contrasted pipping and lamb skin rugs plus Real Chrome trim to name few. Making them extremely desirable. Best looking saloon car ever!!!
