Summary

This 2007 Yukon SLT offers a rare combination of low mileage and robust American engineering, making it a standout choice in the GCC used market. With significantly fewer kilometers than typical for its age, this SUV provides the durability of a body-on-frame build at a highly accessible entry point. The Gold exterior is a practical choice for the region, known for hiding desert dust and maintaining strong resale appeal across the Emirates. It bridges the gap between a rugged workhorse and a comfortable family hauler, perfectly suited for weekend desert excursions or long highway hauls between cities. For a GCC buyer, the primary advantage here is the proven mechanical simplicity and the widespread availability of parts and service across the region.

This Car vs Other 2007 Yukons

At 123,000 km, this Yukon has been driven roughly 6,800 km per year—well below the GCC annual average of 20,000–25,000 km. This low-mileage status suggests significantly less wear on the suspension and drivetrain compared to most 2007 models on the market. The Gold Mist Metallic finish is a highly sought-after shade in the UAE, valued for its ability to resist the visual effects of sun-bleaching and dust.

SLT vs Lower Trims

The SLT trim is a significant step up from the base SLE, replacing cloth upholstery with premium leather seating and adding dual-zone automatic climate control for better cabin cooling. GCC buyers will appreciate the addition of power-adjustable pedals and a premium audio system, features that enhance comfort during long cross-country drives. It also includes upgraded interior trim and additional power-operated conveniences not found on the entry-level models.

Yukon vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Toyota Sequoia and Nissan Armada of the same era, the Yukon offers a more car-like ride quality while maintaining a massive 98-liter fuel tank for extended highway range. Its 5.3L Vortec engine features Active Fuel Management, which provides better cruising efficiency than many V8 competitors during steady-speed highway travel. The Yukon’s tighter turning circle also makes it more manageable in city traffic compared to the Ford Expedition EL.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 5.3L AWD averages approximately 15.5 L/100km in mixed GCC conditions, though this improves on highway stretches. As a staple of American SUV engineering, it benefits from one of the most affordable and widespread parts networks in the Middle East, with specialized service centers available from Abu Dhabi to Muscat. While American spec vehicles should be checked for local radio and navigation compatibility, the mechanical parts are identical to GCC versions, ensuring stable long-term value retention.

Performance & Capability

The 5.3-liter V8 delivers a verified 320 horsepower and 460 Nm of torque, enabling a maximum braked towing capacity of 3,583 kg (7,900 lbs). The All-Wheel Drive system provides reliable traction on gravel tracks and loose sand, making it a capable companion for family camping trips in the desert. On the highway, the V8 provides effortless overtaking power, even when fully loaded with seven passengers and their luggage.

Comfort & Cabin

The SLT cabin is designed for long-distance comfort, featuring three rows of seating and dedicated rear-seat air conditioning vents—a critical feature for the GCC summer. The leather-appointed interior is well-insulated from road noise, and the flexible seating allows for a massive 3,083 liters of total cargo space when the rear rows are stowed. Premium acoustic glass helps maintain a cool cabin temperature even when outside conditions exceed 45°C.

Safety

This Yukon comes standard with StabiliTrak stability control and a full array of airbags, including three-row head-curtain side airbags for rollover protection. The four-wheel disc brakes are equipped with ABS and dynamic rear proportioning to ensure stable stopping power when towing heavy loads. Tire pressure monitoring and rear parking sensors provide additional safety layers for navigating busy city environments and tight parking spaces.

The bottom line

This is an ideal opportunity for a family or enthusiast looking for a low-mileage, V8 American SUV that is mechanically ready for the GCC’s demanding climate and terrain.
