Audi RS4 Black Optics

A proper modern classic RS4 – and a pretty unique one in the lineup. This is the only RS4 saloon chassis ever made, and the only RS4 that came with a naturally aspirated V8 paired with a manual gearbox.

4.2L V8, 414 bhp, quattro AWD, 6-speed manual – the way these cars drive and sound is what makes them special.

The car has 127k km, originally from Japan and now in Dubai.

Finished in black on black with leather/Alcantara interior and the desirable wingback bucket seats.

It also has the Black Optics package – including black exterior trim and moldings, darker 19-inch wheels, black exhaust tips, and Alcantara-trimmed steering wheel, gear shifter and handbrake from factory – giving it a much more aggressive and cohesive look.

Importantly, the car retains the original DRC suspension system and factory exhaust valve control, both still in place and operational – something that is becoming increasingly rare on these cars.

The car is fitted with new Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres and a Pioneer head unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Maintenance-wise, the typical RS4 weak points have already been addressed:
- Intake carbon buildup cleaned (common on these engines)
- Brake discs and pads replaced
- Front suspension links replaced
- Interior wear sorted – steering wheel, gear shifter, handbrake and parts of seats retrimmed
- Headliner replaced (no sagging)

Cosmetically, some panels have been refreshed or repainted over time – wheels, trunk lid, lower trims – and headlights are back to factory spec.

Overall, a well-sorted B7 RS4 where the common ownership issues have already been taken care of. Great as a fun daily, weekend car, or something to hold onto as these continue to gain recognition as modern classics.
