• Extensive GCC authorised service network
• Strong value retention in the GCC used market

Summary

This 2010 Nissan Rogue S represents a practical entry point into the compact SUV segment, offering a balance of Nissan's proven reliability and low maintenance costs. With 173,000 km, its mileage is within the expected range for its age in the GCC, where highway commuting is common. The Grey exterior is a highly preferred resale color in this region, resisting dust visibility while maintaining strong demand. As a monocoque crossover, it provides a car-like driving experience with the added benefit of a higher seating position and versatile cargo space. For a GCC buyer, the most important consideration is Nissan's widespread service support, ensuring affordable ownership across all emirates.

This Car vs Other 2010 Nissan Rogues

At 173,000 km, this Rogue sits at an average mileage for a 14-year-old vehicle in the GCC, where typical annual use often exceeds 20,000 km. The Grey exterior is a significant advantage in the local market, as it is one of the top three colors for resale strength and heat reflection. While this is a Korean spec import, it offers an attractive price point compared to local GCC models while maintaining the same core mechanical components.

S vs Lower Trims

The S trim serves as the essential foundation for the Rogue lineup, focusing on durability and ease of use. It includes standard features that GCC buyers value for daily commutes, such as cruise control for long highway stretches and a user-friendly audio system with steering wheel controls. Unlike base trims of some competitors, the Rogue S comes standard with a full suite of airbags and electronic stability control.

Nissan Rogue vs Segment Rivals

The Rogue competes directly with the Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR-V, standing out with its Xtronic CVT which prioritizes smooth power delivery and fuel efficiency. It leads many rivals in terms of front-row interior storage, featuring an exceptionally large glove box and center console ideal for organizing personal items on long drives. Its lower floor height also makes loading groceries or strollers easier than in many traditional body-on-frame SUVs.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.5-liter engine is known for its moderate fuel consumption, averaging approximately 9.0 L/100km in mixed driving conditions. Nissan parts are among the most accessible and affordable in the UAE, with a vast network of authorized centers and independent specialists available. In the GCC, the Rogue follows a stable depreciation curve, typically retaining its value better than European equivalents in the same age bracket. As a non-GCC spec vehicle, buyers should expect a lower entry price which offsets the slightly lower resale value compared to a local-market car.

Performance & Capability

Equipped with a 170 hp engine, the Rogue provides reliable power for city traffic and confident highway merging across the UAE's fast-moving roads. Its monocoque chassis and independent multi-link rear suspension offer a soft ride quality that handles road imperfections with ease. While primarily designed for on-road use, its 210 mm ground clearance allows it to handle light gravel paths and beach-side parking without issue during weekend outings.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is designed with long-distance comfort in mind, featuring supportive cloth seating and a quiet interior environment that minimizes road noise. The air conditioning system is robust, a critical feature for the GCC summer, with vents designed to quickly cool the cabin after being parked in the sun. The 60/40 split-folding rear seats allow for a maximum cargo volume of approximately 1,640 litres, accommodating larger family items easily.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on this trim includes six airbags—front, side, and side-curtain—providing comprehensive protection for all occupants. For the fast-paced multi-lane highways of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the standard Vehicle Dynamic Control and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist offer essential stability and stopping power. The 2010 Rogue earned high marks in contemporary side-impact crash testing, making it a responsible choice for family-oriented buyers.

The bottom line

This Nissan Rogue is an ideal choice for a budget-conscious commuter or a small family looking for a reliable SUV with predictable running costs. Its strong resale color and Nissan's massive local service network make it a low-risk opportunity in the UAE used market.
