Summary

This 2013 Nissan Juke SL offers a distinctive blend of compact crossover agility and premium features, making it a standout choice for urban commuting in the UAE. With a respectable 150,000 km on the clock, this vehicle sits at a typical mileage for its age in the GCC, suggesting consistent use on well-maintained regional highways. As the high-spec SL trim, it provides significant equipment advantages over base models, while the popular white exterior ensures better heat reflection and strong resale potential in the local market. For those seeking a bold, reliable daily driver with the backing of Nissan's extensive regional service network, this Juke represents a practical and stylish opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2013 Jukes

At 150,000 km, this Juke has averaged approximately 13,600 km per year, which is significantly lower than the GCC annual average of 20,000–25,000 km. This lower-than-average usage for the region translates to less mechanical wear on critical components. The white exterior is a strategic choice for the UAE climate, as it maintains cooler cabin temperatures and remains the most sought-after color for used car buyers.

SL vs Lower Trims

The SL is the range-topping trim for this model year, offering a substantial upgrade in comfort and technology over the S and SV variants. It typically adds premium features such as leather-appointed seating, a upgraded Rockford Fosgate audio system, and a standard navigation system with a rearview monitor. These high-tier additions are specifically valued by GCC buyers looking for a more refined cabin experience during summer months.

Juke vs Segment Rivals

The Nissan Juke competes against the Kia Soul and Ford EcoSport, leading its class in bold styling and compact maneuverability. Its tighter turning circle and unique motorcycle-inspired interior design offer a more engaging driving environment than its more utilitarian rivals. Additionally, Nissan’s market dominance in the GCC ensures that the Juke benefits from superior parts availability compared to smaller segment competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

The 1.6-litre engine is designed for efficiency, with real-world combined fuel consumption averaging around 6.0 L/100km, which is ideal for stop-start city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh. Maintenance is straightforward with service intervals typically every 10,000 km, supported by one of the most extensive authorized service networks across the UAE and wider GCC. Nissan's strong brand reputation locally helps the Juke retain approximately 55-60% of its value over a three-year period.

Performance & Capability

The 1.6-litre powertrain delivers 117 hp, providing a balanced performance for both city navigation and highway overtaking. Its front-wheel-drive configuration and compact footprint make it exceptionally easy to park in crowded urban areas while maintaining a stable top speed of 171 km/h for inter-emirate travel. The sport-tuned suspension offers a more planted feel than traditional small SUVs, catering to those who enjoy a spirited commute.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features a five-seat layout with high-quality SL-trim finishes and a high seating position for improved visibility on multi-lane highways. A powerful Nissan climate control system is standard, ensuring the cabin stays cool even during extreme GCC summer temperatures. Storage is versatile with 60/40 split-folding rear seats that expand the cargo area for weekend shopping or beach trips.

Safety

Safety is a priority with six airbags standard on this trim, including dual-stage front, side-impact, and roof-mounted curtain airbags. The vehicle is equipped with Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Traction Control, which provide essential support during occasional sand-drifts or rain on high-speed roads. Its 5-star Euro NCAP heritage underscores a robust engineering foundation for family protection.

The bottom line

This Juke SL is a top-spec, well-maintained crossover perfect for a young professional or small family looking for a unique, reliable urban commuter with excellent local resale prospects.
