Summary

This full-size luxury sedan offers a compelling mix of distinct British styling and advanced lightweight engineering that sets it apart from typical segment options. Maintaining a highly reasonable distance traveled relative to its age across the region, it benefits from a well-preserved ownership history. The supercharged powertrain delivers prompt, athletic performance while maintaining respectable efficiency on long cross-border journeys. Inside, the tailored cabin prioritizes high-tier comfort and sophisticated infotainment options designed to satisfy daily commuting needs. Ensuring consistent maintenance at specialized centers is the primary consideration for long-term reliability and peak performance in local conditions.

This Car vs Other 2014 XJs

The distance traveled on this vehicle sits well below the typical regional average for a vehicle of this age, indicating less wear from long highway commutes. The striking exterior shade is highly practical for the regional climate, effectively masking fine dust and reflecting intense summer heat. This makes it an attractive choice for buyers prioritizing strong future resale value in the local pre-owned market.

LUXURY vs Lower Trims

As an upscale configuration, this edition introduces premium appointments over standard variants, including soft-close doors as standard equipment for this model year. It also upgrades the cabin environment with the high-fidelity Meridian audio system and enhanced multi-way power-adjustable seating. These features drastically elevate the premium ownership experience during long regional drives.

XJ vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class, this model stands out with its innovative lightweight aluminum construction that ensures more agile handling and sharper performance. It delivers a uniquely athletic driver-focused character that breaks away from the more traditional, insulated executive cruisers in its class. Additionally, the supercharged six-cylinder powertrain balances high output with better real-world efficiency than rival V8 options.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 12.6 liters per 100 kilometers under mixed driving conditions, presenting an efficient alternative to larger-engine luxury sedans. Authorized service networks are widely accessible across major UAE cities, though coverage may vary in smaller regional markets. Thanks to its official regional specifications, it maintains a distinct value premium and easier registration compared to imported global market versions. European flagships of this tier typically follow a steady luxury depreciation curve in the pre-owned market.

Performance & Capability

The supercharged powertrain accelerates the sedan from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. Its 340 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque deliver crisp, linear throttle response that makes highway overtaking effortless. The standard rear-wheel-drive configuration preserves a traditional sports-saloon feel, while an adaptive dynamics system continuously monitors driver inputs to optimize the suspension stiffness.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat layout features premium leather upholstery alongside fine wood trim to create a distinctly bespoke interior atmosphere. Dual-zone automatic climate control ensures rapid cabin cooling during peak summer heatwaves, while standard multi-way heated seats offer added comfort. The cabin is well-insulated from exterior road noise and high ambient temperatures, making it an excellent environment for long-distance highway cruising.

Safety

Advanced active and passive safety features include a comprehensive array of side curtain and front airbags to protect all occupants. Standard blind-spot monitoring helps navigate fast-moving multi-lane highway traffic, while front and rear parking sensors coupled with a rearview camera make urban parking seamless. Electronic stability control and advanced traction systems maintain firm road adhesion on varied regional road surfaces.

The bottom line

This vehicle is ideal for an executive or luxury enthusiast who wants a distinctive, driver-focused flagship sedan that avoids segment clichés. This specific listing represents a strong opportunity due to its verified regional specifications and below-average usage.
