• 0–100 km/h in 7.4 seconds
• 9 airbags standard

Summary

This 2014 E300 offers a rare combination of the classic Elegance luxury appointments and the aggressive styling of the AMG exterior package. With 95,000 km, it sits well below the typical 250,000+ km usage expected for a 12-year-old executive sedan in the GCC, representing a significant mechanical advantage. The silver finish is one of the most resilient and high-demand resale colors in the region, effectively masking road dust and maintaining its luster in the desert sun. While competitors often moved to smaller turbocharged units, this V6 provides the linear power and long-term durability that Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts in the Gulf value for high-speed highway cruising. This Korean-spec example provides an accessible entry point into E-Class ownership while maintaining the refined road presence the model is famous for.

This Car vs Other 2014 E300s

At 95,000 km, this vehicle has averaged less than 8,000 km per year, which is exceptionally low compared to the GCC market average of 20,000 km per year. This low mileage suggests significantly less wear on the suspension and drivetrain components than most 12-year-old examples available locally. The silver exterior is a top-tier resale choice in the Middle East, offering superior heat reflection and maintaining value better than darker or unconventional tones.

ELEGANCE AMG vs Lower Trims

The Elegance trim focuses on traditional luxury, featuring a hood-mounted star and wood-grain interior finishes, but this specific car adds the AMG styling kit for a sportier aesthetic. Over the standard Avantgarde, it typically adds enhanced cabin materials and specific alloy wheel designs. Buyers benefit from the higher-tier Direct Select shifter on the steering column, freeing up center console space compared to base configurations.

E300 vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the BMW 5 Series and Audi A6 of the same era, the E300 is often preferred in the GCC for its superior ride comfort and cabin isolation on long-distance drives between Emirates. Its 3.5L naturally aspirated V6 avoids the complexities of early turbocharged rivals, offering a more predictable maintenance profile. The E-Class also typically offers more generous rear-seat headroom, making it a better choice for family or executive use.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 3.5L V6 averages around 10.5L/100km in mixed driving, which is competitive for a heavy executive sedan. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km, and as one of the most popular models in the UAE, both authorized centers and independent specialists are widely available. While Korean-spec cars may trade at a slight discount compared to GCC-spec equivalents, the exceptionally low mileage on this unit helps mitigate typical depreciation.

Performance & Capability

The 252 hp V6 engine provides a smooth, linear power delivery that allows the E300 to reach 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds. It is designed for effortless highway overtaking, with a 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission that keeps revs low at high speeds. The rear-wheel-drive chassis offers the classic balanced handling characteristic of German executive sedans, providing stability during cross-country trips.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is designed for premium comfort, featuring high-quality leather and dual-zone automatic climate control that is well-regarded for its performance in high temperatures. Acoustic glass helps keep the interior serene, isolating passengers from wind and road noise on the highway. The Elegance interior includes ambient lighting and power-adjustable seating to ensure comfort during long summer drives.

Safety

This E300 comes equipped with 9 airbags as standard, including a driver's knee airbag and pelvic bags. It features the PRE-SAFE system, which prepares the vehicle for an imminent collision, and Attention Assist to monitor driver fatigue during long desert drives. Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and advanced traction management ensure the vehicle remains composed on variable road surfaces common in the region.

The bottom line

This is an ideal opportunity for a buyer seeking the prestige of a Mercedes-Benz V6 sedan with significantly lower-than-average mileage and a high-resale color profile.
