Introduced in 2013, the LaFerrari marked a defining moment in the history of Maranello, becoming the first Ferrari production car to feature the HY-KERS hybrid system. Developed with knowledge gained through Ferrari’s Formula 1 programme, this innovative powertrain pairs a naturally aspirated 6.3-litre V12 engine with an electric motor to deliver a combined output of 963 cv. The result is a hypercar that combines the unmistakable character of a high-revving V12 with the immediate torque and additional performance provided by electric power.
 
Every element of the LaFerrari was designed with performance in mind. Its sculpted bodywork channels airflow around the car, while active aerodynamic elements adapt to driving conditions to help maximise downforce and efficiency. Beneath the dramatic exterior, a carbon-fibre monocoque provides a lightweight, rigid foundation, reflecting the influence of Ferrari’s experience in motorsport. Finished in black over a matching black interior, this LaFerrari presents one of Ferrari’s most celebrated modern hypercars in a distinctly understated specification. The dark exterior emphasises the car’s dramatic proportions, from its low nose and sculpted side profile to the intricate detailing at the rear. Inside, the black cabin continues the purposeful aesthetic, keeping the focus on the driver and the distinctive cockpit design.
 
Production was limited to just 499 coupés, making the LaFerrari an important chapter in the marque’s history and a highly sought-after model among collectors.
