Summary

This 2016 Rolls-Royce Wraith is a standout opportunity in the GCC market, offering exceptionally low mileage for a 10-year-old vehicle. Finished in classic White—the most desirable resale color for luxury grand tourers in the region—it represents a high-spec GCC example that has been driven less than 2,500 km annually. As a pillarless coupe with its signature rear-hinged coach doors, the Wraith offers a more driver-focused experience than the Ghost while maintaining peerless cabin refinement. For the discerning UAE buyer, this vehicle provides the prestige of a V12 flagship with the mechanical freshness rarely found in examples of this vintage. Ownership of a Wraith in this condition is a statement of both taste and careful preservation.

This Car vs Other 2016 Wraiths

With only 23,000 km on the odometer, this Wraith has covered significantly less distance than the typical 10-year-old luxury vehicle in the GCC, where annual averages often exceed 20,000 km. Its white exterior ensures it remains the most liquid asset in the secondary market, avoiding the specialized niche of bolder bespoke colors. The low usage suggests the mechanical components, particularly the complex air suspension and twin-turbochargers, have faced far less heat-cycling than high-mileage counterparts.

Standard vs Lower Trims

While Rolls-Royce technically offers the Wraith in a single primary trim, this GCC-spec example includes highly sought-after features that were technically optional in other markets, such as the 360-degree camera system and the high-output Bespoke Audio suite. It features the signature 'Starlight' headliner and ventilated massage seating, which are essential for maintaining comfort during the extreme summer temperatures of the Middle East. Unlike basic international models, this regional specification is fully optimized for local climate and fuel requirements.

Wraith vs Segment Rivals

The Wraith leads rivals like the Bentley Continental GT and Mercedes-AMG S65 Coupe by offering a more substantial 'Magic Carpet Ride' air suspension that irons out road imperfections more effectively. Its V12 engine provides a level of effortless torque and silence that the Bentley’s W12 cannot match for refinement. Additionally, the unique rear-hinged doors provide far easier ingress and egress for rear passengers compared to standard coupe configurations.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 6.6L V12 averages approximately 14.4L/100km, though this will increase in heavy stop-start city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh. Service intervals are recommended every 12 months or 15,000 km, with authorized service centers readily available across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. While ultra-luxury coupes experience higher initial depreciation, low-mileage GCC-spec Wraiths have shown improved value retention since the model was discontinued in favor of the electric Spectre, appealing to V12 purists.

Performance & Capability

The hand-built V12 produces 624 hp and 800 Nm of torque, enabling a top speed of 250 km/h (limited). The 8-speed automatic transmission is satellite-aided, using GPS data to pre-select gears based on the road ahead—a feature that makes long-distance driving between Emirates exceptionally smooth. Despite its size, the rear-wheel-drive layout and shorter wheelbase compared to the Ghost provide a surprisingly agile feel on open highways.

Comfort & Cabin

The four-seat cabin is a sanctuary of fine leather and hand-finished wood veneers, designed to remain cool even in 45°C heat thanks to a high-capacity GCC-spec climate control system. Acoustic glass ensures the cabin remains whisper-quiet at highway speeds, shielding occupants from wind and road noise. The power-closing coach doors and deep-pile lambswool mats provide a tactile luxury experience that defines the Rolls-Royce brand.

Safety

Standard safety technology on this trim includes a comprehensive ADAS suite with Night Vision, a Head-Up Display, and a 360-degree surround-view camera system which is invaluable for maneuvering the large coupe in urban parking environments. Adaptive LED headlights with automatic high-beam control ensure maximum visibility during desert night drives, while the robust chassis and advanced stability control provide peace of mind on high-speed motorways.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity for a GCC collector to acquire a low-mileage, discontinued V12 icon in the region's most desirable color specification.
