Summary

This Range Rover stands as a definitive luxury workhorse for the UAE market, pairing the prestige of the flagship body style with the high-performance 510 hp supercharged V8. With 94,000 km, the mileage is remarkably low for a 2017 model in the GCC, where long-distance commutes often push yearly averages well beyond 20,000 km. The classic white exterior is not only ideal for the local climate but also represents one of the strongest resale colors in the region. This specific trim bridges the gap between road-focused comfort and genuine off-road capability, making it a versatile choice for both executive use and weekend adventures. For a buyer seeking the ultimate blend of British refinement and proven reliability in extreme heat, this GCC-spec example is an exceptional opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2017 Range Rovers

While many 2017 models in the GCC have now crossed the 150,000 km mark, this example remains under 100,000 km, offering significant mechanical longevity. The white paintwork provides a double advantage in this market, reflecting solar heat more effectively than darker tones and maintaining a higher residual value due to consistent buyer demand. Being a GCC-spec vehicle, it features the uprated cooling systems essential for trouble-free operation during the peak summer months.

VOGUE SE vs Lower Trims

The Vogue SE trim is a significant step above the standard Vogue and HSE variants, specifically adding the more capable Terrain Response 2 system and All-Terrain Progress Control as standard. Inside, it gains upgraded semi-aniline leather upholstery and ventilated front seats, a feature that is practically essential for comfort in the Middle East. It also features a superior Meridian sound system and soft-close doors, elevating the daily driving experience to a true executive level.

Range Rover vs Segment Rivals

Compared to rivals like the Mercedes-Benz GLS and the Lexus LX 570, the Range Rover offers a superior approach angle of 34.7 degrees and a wading depth of 900 mm, making it the more capable off-roader. While the Lexus is known for durability, the Range Rover’s all-aluminum body construction provides a much more athletic and responsive driving experience on UAE highways. Its 105-litre fuel tank also ensures a longer cruising range between emirates compared to many European luxury competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

The supercharged V8 delivers a combined fuel consumption of approximately 13.8 L/100km, though stop-start traffic in cities like Dubai or Riyadh can see this rise toward 18 L/100km. Service intervals are typically scheduled every 16,000 km or 12 months, and Jaguar Land Rover maintains an extensive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. While European luxury SUVs depreciate faster than Japanese alternatives, the Vogue SE trim in white retains its value significantly better than lower-spec or non-GCC models.

Performance & Capability

The 5.0-litre supercharged V8 produces a formidable 510 hp and 625 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 5.4 seconds—performance that makes highway overtaking effortless. It is equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a permanent all-wheel-drive system featuring a low-range transfer case for serious off-roading. The air suspension allows the vehicle to raise to a maximum ground clearance of 295 mm, providing the capability to tackle soft sand dunes or rocky wadis with total confidence.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of luxury, featuring 550 litres of boot space with the seats up, providing ample room for family luggage or golf sets. The four-zone climate control is specifically designed to handle extreme desert heat, ensuring every passenger remains cool even when external temperatures exceed 45°C. Double-glazed acoustic glass significantly reduces road noise, creating a whisper-quiet environment for long-distance drives across the GCC.

Safety

This Range Rover comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including multiple airbags, Electronic Traction Control, and Cornering Brake Control. Useful for the region's fast-moving highways, it also features blind-spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control to reduce driver fatigue. The 360-degree camera system and front/rear parking sensors are standard on this trim, making the vehicle surprisingly easy to maneuver in tight city parking environments.

The bottom line

For the discerning GCC buyer, this low-mileage, white-on-beige Vogue SE offers the perfect balance of V8 power and flagship luxury with the added peace of mind of a full GCC specification.
