Summary

This 2017 Nissan Patrol LE Titanium represents one of the most resilient configurations for the GCC market, combining the robust 400 hp V8 with high-demand features like a sunroof and remote start. With its crisp white exterior, it maintains a strong resale advantage across the region, where this specific color and trim are highly sought after by local buyers. The Patrol remains a segment leader for those who prioritize cooling performance and mechanical durability, specifically engineered to handle extreme summer heat without compromise. For any buyer in the Emirates or Saudi Arabia, the sheer scale of the service network ensures parts are always accessible and maintenance is straightforward. It is a definitive choice for a driver who needs a daily commuter that doubles as a capable desert explorer.

This Car vs Other 2017 Patrols

At 160,000 km, this vehicle's mileage is typical for a 2017 model in the GCC, where long-distance highway commutes are the standard. The white exterior is a strategic choice for this market, offering the best heat reflection and the highest resale value retention compared to darker alternatives.

LE T2 TITANIUM vs Lower Trims

The LE T2 Titanium upgrade significantly enhances the driving experience over the T1 and SE trims by adding essential GCC comforts like a remote engine starter and a powered sunroof. This trim also introduces a more refined cabin with leatherette upholstery and a larger infotainment suite that provides a noticeable step up in executive feel.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Toyota Land Cruiser and Chevrolet Tahoe, the Patrol stands out with its standard 140-litre fuel tank, providing superior range for long-distance desert crossings. Its cabin cooling system is widely considered the most effective in the class, a critical advantage during the peak summer months.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 14.5 L/100km, reflecting its heavy-duty V8 capability in mixed GCC traffic. The Patrol is a resale powerhouse in the region, typically retaining 85-88% of its value in the first year and depreciating at a slower rate than European rivals. Maintenance is supported by the most extensive authorized service network in the Middle East.

Performance & Capability

The 400 hp 5.6L V8 engine delivers near-instantaneous throttle response, making high-speed highway overtaking effortless even with eight passengers on board. It features a genuine low-range transfer case and selectable terrain modes for sand and rock, ensuring it remains as capable on a weekend dune drive as it is on the tarmac. A 3,500 kg braked towing capacity also makes it a primary choice for hauling trailers and boats.

Comfort & Cabin

The eight-seat layout offers limo-like legroom in the second row, with dedicated roof-mounted vents to ensure every passenger stays cool in 45°C+ temperatures. The LE Titanium cabin is insulated for high-speed refinement, featuring a cooled center console box that is accessible from both front and rear rows. With the third row folded, cargo space expands to nearly 1,500 litres, easily accommodating family luggage for cross-border trips.

Safety

This trim is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera for easier parking, and cruise control for long highway drives. Advanced stability control and high-intensity LED headlights provide added security when navigating through sand-blown or unlit desert roads at night.

The bottom line

Perfect for the growing family or desert enthusiast, this V8 Patrol offers the ideal balance of luxury features and legendary mechanical reliability in the GCC's favorite color.
