Summary

This GCC-spec flagship SUV offers the perfect balance of prestige and performance, featuring the highly desirable 510 hp supercharged V8 engine. With 150,000 km, its mileage is exactly in line with average GCC highway use, where vehicles typically cover 20,000–25,000 km annually. The white exterior is a top-tier choice for the region, known for reflecting desert heat and maintaining the strongest resale value in the UAE market. As a Vogue SE trim, it bridges the gap between the base models and the Autobiography, providing essential high-end comforts without the excessive maintenance costs of the long-wheelbase variants. For a buyer in the Gulf, this represents a mechanically robust luxury workhorse capable of effortless interstate cruises between cities like Dubai and Riyadh.

This Car vs Other 2014 Range Rovers

At 150,000 km, this vehicle has been driven approximately 15,000 km per year, which is significantly lower than the typical 25,000 km GCC average for luxury SUVs. This lower-than-average usage often translates to better preserved interior leather and less wear on the air suspension components. The white paint is the most practical choice for the UAE climate, ensuring the cabin stays cooler during peak summer months and remains easy to sell when it's time to upgrade.

VOGUE SE vs Lower Trims

The Vogue SE trim significantly upgrades the cabin experience over the standard Vogue by introducing Semi-Aniline leather and ventilated cooling elements for both front and rear seats—a vital feature for GCC summers. It also replaces the standard audio with a premium Meridian Surround Sound system and adds soft-close doors. Furthermore, this trim includes 21-inch alloy wheels and the advanced Terrain Response 2 system, which features an automatic mode for seamless transitions between sand and highway driving.

Range Rover vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Lexus LX570 or the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class, the Range Rover offers a superior 900 mm wading depth and a more advanced aluminum monocoque chassis that makes it feel significantly more agile on twisty roads. While the Lexus is prized for its reliability, the Range Rover's supercharged V8 provides far more effortless overtaking power on fast-moving highways like E11. Its iconic split-tailgate design also provides a functional outdoor seating area that rivals cannot match.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the supercharged 5.0L V8 averages around 13.8 L/100km on the highway, though GCC city traffic will see this rise toward 18 L/100km. Being a GCC-spec vehicle, it is fully supported by the extensive Al Tayer and Premier Motors service network, ensuring easy access to genuine parts and specialized technicians. While European luxury SUVs typically depreciate by 12-18% annually in the UAE, the Vogue SE trim in white retains a price premium due to high demand in the secondary market.

Performance & Capability

The 510 hp supercharged V8 delivers a 0–100 km/h time of just 5.4 seconds, ensuring this 2.3-tonne SUV moves with surprising urgency. The standard air suspension allows the vehicle to reach a maximum ground clearance of 295.5 mm, making it exceptionally capable for weekend desert excursions or navigating flooded wadis. Its 8-speed ZF automatic transmission is tuned for smooth power delivery, providing a refined experience during long-distance cross-border drives.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is a sanctuary of Semi-Aniline leather and real wood veneers, designed to isolate passengers from the harsh outside environment. Climate control is managed by a powerful multi-zone system with dedicated rear vents that can quickly drop cabin temperatures even when parked in 45°C heat. The inclusion of ventilated seats and a panoramic sunroof provides an airy, comfortable atmosphere for all five passengers during family road trips.

Safety

This Range Rover comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including a 360-degree camera system, blind-spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control, which are essential for navigating busy multi-lane UAE highways. It also features advanced traction and stability control systems specifically calibrated for low-grip surfaces like sand and gravel. The robust aluminum body structure helped this generation achieve a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating, providing peace of mind for family use.

The bottom line

For the executive buyer seeking the iconic British luxury experience with a GCC-proven powertrain, this low-usage Vogue SE is a standout opportunity that prioritizes both summer comfort and high resale potential.
