Summary

This 2021 Urus represents a balanced entry point into the super-SUV segment, offering supercar-level acceleration with the practicality of a five-seat family crossover. Its black-on-black configuration remains the most sought-after color combination for resale in the GCC, ensuring it holds value better than more experimental factory palettes. With the mileage sitting at a manageable level for its age, it avoids the heavy depreciation hit of a new unit while remaining mechanically fresh. For a GCC buyer, this model provides the ideal blend of high-speed highway stability for cross-emirate trips and the aggressive road presence demanded in city traffic.

This Car vs Other 2021 Uruss

With 58,000 km, this vehicle is well within the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average for GCC-based luxury SUVs, indicating it has been used as a primary vehicle but not excessively driven. The black exterior is a primary value-driver in the local used market, consistently fetching higher trade-in prices compared to brighter launch colors. In a market where high-mileage examples are common due to frequent highway commuting, this unit represents a mechanically sound middle ground for collectors and daily drivers alike.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

As the foundational trim for the Urus lineup, this model includes the high-performance 650 hp V8 and adaptive air suspension that defines the Urus experience. Unlike many base-trim luxury SUVs, it comes standard with the ANIMA drive selector including Neve (Snow), Terra (Off-road), and Sabbia (Sand) modes, which are essential for weekend coastal or desert-edge excursions in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. It also features the massive 440mm carbon-ceramic brakes as standard, providing the necessary stopping power for high-temperature GCC highway driving.

Urus vs Segment Rivals

The Urus leads the Aston Martin DBX and Bentley Bentayga V8 in pure athletic engagement and aggressive styling, making it the preferred choice for those moving from supercars into the SUV segment. While the Bentayga focuses on ultimate isolation, the Urus provides a much sharper chassis and quicker 0–100 km/h sprint time, which is highly valued for highway overtaking. Its cooling system is also specifically engineered for the high thermal loads found in GCC stop-start traffic, a common edge over smaller-volume boutique rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 12.7L to 16.8L/100km, reflecting the heavy-duty cooling requirements of the GCC summer. Service intervals are typically scheduled every 10,000 km or 12 months, with authorized Lamborghini service centers widely available in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and Kuwait City. As a 'Other' spec vehicle, buyers should verify the remaining global warranty or local service contract compatibility to maintain its 10-15% annual depreciation curve, which is remarkably stable for this segment.

Performance & Capability

The 4.0L twin-turbo V8 delivers a staggering 650 hp and 850 Nm of torque, enabling a 3.6-second sprint to 100 km/h that challenges most dedicated sports cars. The All Wheel Drive system features a Torsen central self-locking differential and active torque vectoring, providing exceptional grip on sand-swept asphalt or during high-speed highway cruising. Multiple drive modes allow the driver to stiffen the suspension for the track-like curves of Jebel Hafeet or soften it for daily urban commutes across the Emirates.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Urus features a fighter-jet inspired cockpit with the Tamburo controls, perfectly suited for the driver-centric GCC buyer. The dual-touchscreen infotainment system includes full smartphone integration, while the multi-zone climate control is specifically designed to handle 45°C+ summer peaks. With five seats and a 616-liter boot, it functions effectively as a luxury family hauler, ensuring rear passengers remain comfortable even on long drives between Riyadh and the Eastern Province.

Safety

Standard safety features include a comprehensive ADAS suite with autonomous emergency braking and blind-spot monitoring, which are crucial for navigating fast-moving GCC highway traffic. The advanced stability control system is tuned to manage the vehicle's high center of gravity during emergency maneuvers on both paved and gravel surfaces. Additionally, the standard 360-degree camera system simplifies parking the wide-body SUV in tight urban shopping mall spaces.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer who wants the most recognizable and performance-oriented SUV on the market, this black 2021 Urus offers the perfect spec and mileage profile to serve as a reliable daily driver that commands absolute respect on the road.
