Summary

This 2019 Range Rover Vogue offers the definitive GCC luxury experience, pairing the high-output 510 hp supercharged V8 with a sophisticated grey finish that maintains excellent resale value in the region. With its mileage sitting at a consistent average for a long-distance cruiser of this age, it remains mechanically robust for the UAE’s highway-heavy lifestyle. The Vogue trim bridges the gap between everyday utility and executive refinement, offering a level of presence that few rivals can match. This specific listing is a standout for those who prioritize the power of the V8 over the base V6, ensuring effortless performance in high-speed traffic and off-road desert escapes alike.

This Car vs Other 2019 Range Rovers

While many Range Rovers of this era are found with the 3.0L V6, this model features the more desirable 5.0L Supercharged V8, a powertrain highly prized in the GCC for its superior overtaking ability. Its mileage of 117,845 km is typical for a five-year-old vehicle in this region, where annual averages of 20,000–25,000 km are standard. The grey exterior is a neutral and strong resale choice, second only to white in the local market's demand.

VOGUE vs Lower Trims

The Vogue trim serves as the gateway to Land Rover's flagship luxury, adding standard features like a fixed panoramic roof and 20-way power-adjustable heated Windsor leather seats that are often optional on base models. It also introduces the Matrix LED headlights and the Meridian sound system as standard, providing the premium cabin atmosphere GCC buyers expect. Unlike lower trims, the Vogue also includes Terrain Response 2, which automatically optimizes vehicle settings for sand and dunes.

Range Rover vs Segment Rivals

Against rivals like the BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS, the Range Rover leads with a superior 900 mm wading depth and authentic off-road hardware that neither German competitor can match. While the Germans focus on three-row road manners, the Range Rover offers a shorter turning circle and a specialized suspension designed to handle the extreme heat and rugged terrain of the Middle East. Its 104-litre fuel tank also provides a significant range advantage for long cross-border drives between emirates.

Running Costs & Resale

The 5.0L V8 reflects its performance with a combined fuel consumption of approximately 12.8 L/100km, though highway efficiency is respectable for a vehicle of this size. Land Rover maintains an extensive authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with recommended service intervals typically every 13,000 km or 12 months. As a GCC-spec model, it holds its value significantly better than imported American or European versions, which often face warranty and cooling compatibility issues in the local climate.

Performance & Capability

With 510 hp and 625 Nm of torque, this SUV achieves 0–100 km/h in approximately 5.4 seconds, delivering a level of acceleration that belies its nearly 2.5-tonne weight. The permanent all-wheel-drive system and adjustable air suspension allow it to transition seamlessly from high-speed highway cruising to technical desert driving. The standard Terrain Response 2 system actively monitors surface conditions, ensuring maximum traction on everything from fine sand to gravel wadis.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is engineered for GCC summer comfort, featuring a powerful multi-zone climate control system and high-quality insulation to keep the heat at bay. Passengers enjoy the Touch Pro Duo dual-screen infotainment setup, which remains intuitive and modern for the 2019 model year. The seating layout provides generous legroom for five adults, while the acoustic glass ensures the interior remains a quiet sanctuary even at high cruising speeds on the E11.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive, featuring a suite of advanced driver assistance systems including Lane Departure Warning, Emergency Braking, and a 360-degree parking aid that is essential for maneuvering a large SUV in tight city spaces. The Range Rover’s high driving position provides exceptional visibility, supported by multiple airbags and a robust aluminum monocoque structure. Adaptive Speed Limiter and Driver Condition Monitoring are also standard, helping to reduce fatigue during long desert highway journeys.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec V8 Vogue is the ideal choice for a buyer who demands flagship presence and supercharged performance without the steep depreciation of a brand-new model.
