Summary

This 2019 Nissan Patrol XE represents a smart entry into the legendary Y62 family, combining the presence of a full-size SUV with a more efficient V6 powertrain. The white exterior is the most sought-after resale color in the UAE, ensuring your investment remains protected in the local market. With 91,608 km, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the typical 120,000+ km seen on same-year GCC workhorses, making it a standout choice for longevity. As a staple of the region, it handles extreme summer heat and long highway stretches with ease, backed by the best parts availability in the Middle East. It is the ideal balanced buy for families who need the space and reliability of a Patrol without the higher running costs of the V8.

This Car vs Other 2019 Nissan Patrols

While many 2019 Patrols in the GCC have already surpassed the 130,000 km mark due to long-distance commuting, this example sits comfortably below the average at 91,608 km. The white exterior is a strategic choice for the UAE climate, reflecting heat more effectively than darker tones and consistently commanding a higher resale value. This mileage-to-age ratio suggests a vehicle used for local family duties rather than heavy cross-border haulage.

XE vs Lower Trims

As the foundational trim for the Y62 series, the XE provides all the essential Patrol hardware, including the robust 4WD system and 18-inch alloy wheels. It includes the highly valued factory-integrated cool box and dual-zone climate control as standard, features often missing in lower-segment rivals. While higher trims add leather and navigation, the XE is preferred by many local buyers for its durable fabric seats and mechanical simplicity, which are easier to maintain in desert conditions.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Toyota Land Cruiser 4.0, the Patrol offers a wider cabin and a more sophisticated independent rear suspension, resulting in a significantly smoother ride on Dubai’s highways. Its 140-litre fuel tank is one of the largest in its class, providing superior range for long trips to Salalah or Liwa. The interior volume for third-row passengers remains a key advantage over the Chevrolet Tahoe and Ford Expedition in this model year.

Running Costs & Resale

The 4.0L V6 engine typically averages between 11.8L and 15L/100km depending on GCC traffic conditions, offering a notable fuel saving over the 5.6L V8 variants. Service intervals are standard at 10,000 km, and with the most extensive authorized service network in the region (Al Masaood and Arabian Automobiles in the UAE), maintenance is convenient and affordable. The Nissan Patrol maintains one of the lowest depreciation rates in the Middle East, typically retaining over 70% of its value after three years.

Performance & Capability

The 4.0L V6 delivers a reliable 275 hp and 394 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission that is specifically geared for smooth highway cruising. While it is built for comfort, the low-range transfer case and 273 mm of ground clearance ensure it is fully capable of handling weekend desert drives and soft sand. The body-on-frame construction provides the durability required for the varied terrain found across the Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

Comfort & Cabin

This XE trim features a spacious 8-seater layout with a high-capacity air conditioning system designed to neutralize 50°C summer peaks quickly. The second row offers generous legroom, and the factory-installed cool box in the center console is a must-have for long GCC road trips. Noise insulation is class-leading for this year, ensuring the cabin remains quiet even at 120 km/h highway speeds.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes dual front airbags, ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), and Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) to maintain stability on both wet tarmac and loose gravel. The inclusion of Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control provides extra security when navigating steep dunes or mountain passes. The Y62 chassis is internationally recognized for its robust impact protection, providing peace of mind for large families.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the prestige and durability of the Patrol nameplate with sensible running costs and high resale potential, this low-mileage V6 XE is the perfect regional fit.
