Summary

This 2019 Nissan Patrol NISMO is a precision-engineered flagship that bridges the gap between a rugged family cruiser and a performance-tuned SUV. With 98,158 km on the odometer, this 7-year-old vehicle has been driven well within the expected limits for the GCC, ensuring plenty of mechanical life remains for its next owner. The White exterior is the gold standard for resale in the region, offering maximum heat reflection and strong market demand. As a NISMO-exclusive trim, it provides a significantly sharper driving experience than a standard Patrol, making it a rare find for those who want iconic reliability without the typical SUV body roll. This is the ultimate choice for a buyer who needs eight-seat practicality but isn't willing to sacrifice driver engagement.

This Car vs Other 2019 Patrols

At 98,158 km, this vehicle sits comfortably below the typical 140,000–175,000 km range often seen on 7-year-old Patrols in the GCC. While many regional examples are used for heavy desert duty or long-distance cross-border commutes, the NISMO trim is often more meticulously maintained by enthusiasts. The White paint is arguably the best choice for the UAE, as it holds its value significantly better than darker colors and handles the intense summer heat more effectively.

NISMO vs Lower Trims

The NISMO trim is a massive step up from the LE Platinum, adding a hand-tuned engine that produces 428 hp compared to the standard 400 hp V8. You also get 22-inch Rays forged alloy wheels and Bilstein shock absorbers, which provide a level of cornering stability that standard trims cannot match. Inside, the cabin is elevated with Alcantara-wrapped steering wheels and signature red-and-black sport seats that are exclusive to this performance flagship.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Toyota Land Cruiser VXR, the Patrol NISMO offers a much more road-focused, sporty character while maintaining the same 3,500 kg towing capacity. It leads the segment in third-row accessibility and provides a more modern cabin tech suite than similar-aged competitors from Ford or GMC. The NISMO-specific aerodynamics also give it a much more aggressive presence on the E11 than any standard luxury SUV.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 5.6L V8 averages around 14.5 L/100km, though this will increase in stop-start city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh. Nissan boasts one of the most extensive authorized service networks in the GCC, with parts readily available from Salwa Road to Sheikh Zayed Road. The NISMO trim specifically retains its value exceptionally well, typically commanding a 20% premium over the Platinum trim even after several years, thanks to its status as a localized performance icon.

Performance & Capability

The NISMO-tuned V8 delivers 428 hp and 560 Nm of torque, enabling this large SUV to hit 100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds—impressive for a vehicle of this size. It retains a sophisticated Four Wheel Drive system with selectable modes, making it just as capable for a weekend at Qudra as it is for high-speed highway cruising. The Bilstein suspension setup is a game-changer for the GCC, virtually eliminating the 'floaty' feel typically associated with large body-on-frame vehicles.

Comfort & Cabin

This is a true eight-seater, featuring a versatile layout that provides genuine legroom even in the third row. The cabin is designed for the Gulf climate, featuring a powerful multi-zone climate control system and a signature cool box in the center console for keeping beverages chilled during long summer drives. Premium sound is delivered via a standard 13-speaker Bose audio system, while acoustic glass helps keep the cabin exceptionally quiet even at high highway speeds.

Safety

This trim comes standard with the full Nissan Intelligent Mobility suite, including Intelligent Forward Collision Warning and Automatic Emergency Braking. For highway safety, it features Blind Spot Warning and Lane Departure Intervention, which are essential for navigating multi-lane GCC roads. The 360-degree Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection makes parking this large SUV in tight city spaces simple and safe.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast who needs a family-sized SUV that doesn't feel like a bus, this NISMO Patrol offers the perfect balance of rarity, performance, and bulletproof GCC reliability.
