Summary

This 6-year-old Mustang GT Premium is a standout choice in the UAE used market, balancing the raw power of the Coyote V8 with the refined interior of the top-tier Premium trim. With 68,000 km, its mileage is significantly lower than the GCC average for its age, suggesting light use and careful preservation of its mechanical health. The black exterior is a high-demand, strong resale color in the region, ensuring better value retention when it's time to upgrade. While rivals offer smaller turbocharged engines, the Mustang’s naturally aspirated 5.0L provides a linear power delivery and an iconic exhaust note that enthusiasts crave. For a GCC buyer, this American-spec model offers high-end cabin technology and performance at a competitive entry point compared to local-spec equivalents.

This Car vs Other 2020 Mustangs

With only 68,000 km over 6 years, this Mustang has averaged roughly 11,300 km annually—well below the typical GCC average of 20,000 km. This lower-than-average mileage makes it a rare and attractive option for buyers seeking longevity. Its black exterior is a top-three resale color in the UAE, providing a clear advantage in marketability and value retention over more niche colors.

GT PREMIUM vs Lower Trims

The GT Premium trim is a major step up from the base GT, adding essential GCC comfort features like ventilated and heated front seats and leather upholstery. It also upgrades the tech experience with the Sync 3 infotainment system on an 8-inch touchscreen and the premium 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system. Buyers also benefit from selectable drive modes and ambient lighting that are absent on the standard GT.

Mustang vs Segment Rivals

When cross-shopped against the Chevrolet Camaro SS or Dodge Challenger R/T, the Mustang leads with its sophisticated 10-speed automatic transmission that optimizes both high-speed cruising and acceleration. Its cabin technology, particularly the digital cluster options and B&O audio, often feels more modern than the Challenger’s interior. Additionally, the Mustang’s more compact dimensions relative to the Challenger make it easier to navigate in tight Dubai or Abu Dhabi city traffic.

Running Costs & Resale

The 5.0L V8 delivers a combined fuel consumption of approximately 12.7 L/100km, which varies depending on your mix of stop-start city traffic and long-distance highway cruising between Emirates. Service intervals for Ford in the GCC are typically every 10,000 km, and with a wide network of specialized garages across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, parts are readily available. As an American-spec car, it offers a lower initial purchase price, though buyers should note that resale value is generally slightly lower than GCC-spec versions.

Performance & Capability

Equipped with the 10-speed automatic, this Mustang hits 0-100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, making it a formidable presence on the UAE's fast-moving highways. The 466 hp naturally aspirated V8 offers immediate throttle response, perfect for safe overtaking at speed. Selectable drive modes, including Track and Drag Strip, allow you to stiffen the steering and sharpen the gear shifts for weekend drives at the Dubai Autodrome or Yas Marina.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is tailored for the GCC climate, featuring powerful dual-zone automatic climate control and ventilated seats that are essential during the peak summer months. Acoustic glass helps insulate the interior from both external heat and road noise during long desert highway drives. Despite its sporty nature, the interior features soft-touch materials and premium leather-trimmed seating that make it a viable grand tourer for trips across the border to Oman.

Safety

Standard safety features on the GT Premium include Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking and a Lane-Keeping System, which are highly beneficial on the high-speed multi-lane roads of the region. Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with Cross-Traffic Alert provides essential visibility for lane changes in heavy traffic. The car is also equipped with a comprehensive airbag suite and electronic stability control to maintain composure on varied road surfaces.

The bottom line

This listing is an ideal match for an enthusiast looking for a low-mileage, high-spec muscle car that doesn't sacrifice daily comfort for performance. It represents a high-value opportunity to own a modern V8 icon with a premium interior in the most desirable resale color.
