7 tips when buying a new car in UAE
Before you rush out there, we’ve got a few tips for you to bear in mind.
If you’re looking for a genuinely well-kept car with a clean and honest history, this one is truly worth considering. I’m the second owner, and I’ve had it for almost two years, during which I added only 12,000 km. The car now has 86,000 km in total. I bought it right before the 2023 flood, and it’s important to say clearly: the car was never flooded, never exposed to water damage, and has always been kept in safe conditions. It has also never been taken to the desert or used in harsh environments — mostly calm, short city drives.
Another detail many buyers appreciate is storage. The car is kept in a multi-storey covered parking, never under direct sun, which really preserves the paint, leather, and overall condition.
I’m very strict with maintenance: oil and filters every 7–8,000 km, premium fuel only, and regular inspections. Since day one, I’ve serviced it in the same specialised workshop that works exclusively with Jeeps, and I’ll happily pass their contact details and all service history to the new owner. The 3.6L petrol engine runs smoothly, and with Eco Mode the real fuel consumption stays around 11–12 L/100 km.
Inside, the car is the Limited GCC-spec edition with a beige leather interior in excellent condition, a full panoramic sunroof, electric memory seats, and both seat ventilation and heating. It’s very clean — nobody has ever smoked inside. The infotainment system is upgraded with wireless CarPlay for iOS and wireless Android Auto, which has been extremely convenient in daily use.
It also offers great comfort and safety: rear cross-traffic braking, cruise control, parking sensors all around, remote start, keyless start, and a spotless history with original factory paint and no accidents. The tyres were replaced in 2023, the insurance is fresh, and the car has been completely trouble-free throughout my ownership. I’m only selling because I’m upgrading — otherwise I’d confidently keep it.
