Summary

This GCC-spec Bronco Wildtrak offers a compelling mix of retro styling and modern trail performance, particularly in this agile 3-door configuration. With its high-output V6 and factory-fitted Sasquatch Package, it provides far more capability than base models for weekend adventures in the Liwa or Al Qudra sands. The grey exterior is a practical choice for the region, showing less dust while maintaining a modern, understated aesthetic that holds value well in the local market. For a five-year-old vehicle, it presents a balanced opportunity to own a high-trim off-roader that has already passed its steepest depreciation curve. It remains a standout choice for those who want a dedicated desert companion without sacrificing daily road manners.

This Car vs Other 2021 Broncos

With 113,200 km on the odometer, this Bronco has been driven roughly 22,640 km per year, which aligns perfectly with the typical GCC annual average of 20,000 to 25,000 km. Unlike many American-spec imports found in the UAE, this is a genuine GCC-spec vehicle, ensuring the cooling system and air conditioning are optimized for extreme summer heat. The grey finish is highly regarded in the local resale market, offering a sophisticated look that is easier to maintain than black or darker shades.

WILDTRAK vs Lower Trims

The Wildtrak is a major step up from the Big Bend or Outer Banks, coming standard with the Sasquatch Package which adds 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels and front/rear locking differentials. It also upgrades the powertrain to the 2.7L EcoBoost V6, a significant torque boost over the standard 2.3L engine found in lower trims. Inside, you get the advanced Terrain Management System with additional G.O.A.T. modes tailored specifically for high-speed desert running.

Bronco vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, the Bronco offers superior on-road stability thanks to its independent front suspension, making long highway drives between Emirates much more comfortable. It leads the Land Rover Defender in terms of raw customization and the 'open-air' experience with its easily removable doors and roof panels. For GCC buyers, the Ford service network provides broad coverage across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, offering a lower complexity of ownership compared to European rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.7L V6 typically averages around 13.5 L/100km in mixed GCC conditions, though highway cruising can be more efficient. As a high-demand 4x4 with the Sasquatch Package, this trim retains its value significantly better than base models, with a projected 3-year residual value that sits near the top of the mid-size SUV segment. Service intervals are generally every 10,000 km at authorized Ford centers, which are widely available across all major GCC cities, ensuring long-term parts availability.

Performance & Capability

The 310 hp twin-turbo V6 delivers 542 Nm of torque, providing effortless overtaking on the E11 and plenty of punch for climbing steep dunes. Its 292 mm of ground clearance and 850 mm wading depth make it one of the most capable factory-spec vehicles for navigating wadis or heavy rain flooding. The 10-speed automatic transmission is tuned to keep the engine in its power band, whether you are crawling over rocks or cruising at 120 km/h.

Comfort & Cabin

The 4-seat interior is designed for durability and ease of cleaning after a day in the sand, featuring marine-grade touchpoints and a layout that maximizes the 3-door footprint. The air conditioning is robust, a necessity for the region, and the SYNC 4 system provides seamless connectivity for long road trips. Despite its rugged exterior, the cabin remains relatively quiet at highway speeds, with enough tech to serve as a comfortable daily commuter.

Safety

Standard safety features on this Wildtrak include Ford Co-Pilot360, which provides Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking and a Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with Cross-Traffic Alert. These systems are particularly valuable on multi-lane GCC highways where fast-moving traffic is common. The vehicle also features advanced Roll Stability Control and multiple airbags, ensuring high-level protection for all four occupants during both city driving and off-road excursions.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast looking for a high-spec, GCC-certified off-roader, this Bronco Wildtrak represents a smart balance of proven mileage and top-tier factory capability.
