Summary

This 2023 Ford Bronco Wildtrak is a rare two-door enthusiast spec that perfectly balances retro styling with serious modern hardware. Despite the higher mileage for its age, it remains a mechanically robust choice for the GCC thanks to its standard Sasquatch package and reinforced Bilstein suspension. The twin-turbo V6 provides effortless power for both high-speed highway cruising and technical dune climbing. In a market dominated by white and silver, this blue finish stands out as a desirable and strong resale option. It represents a versatile opportunity for a buyer seeking a capable off-roader that feels equally at home in urban traffic or deep in the desert.

This Car vs Other 2023 Broncos

With 105,030 km, this Bronco has been driven more than the typical 25,000 km annual GCC average, suggesting a history of long-distance highway commutes rather than just short city trips. The two-door configuration is a specific enthusiast choice that offers a shorter wheelbase and tighter turning circle compared to the common four-door models. The blue exterior is a vibrant alternative to the standard local palette and typically holds its value well among adventure-focused buyers in the UAE and KSA.

WILDTRAK vs Lower Trims

The Wildtrak comes standard with the Sasquatch Package, adding 35-inch mud-terrain tires, front and rear electronic locking differentials, and position-sensitive Bilstein dampers that are unavailable on base trims. It also upgrades the powertrain to the 2.7L twin-turbo V6 as standard, providing a significant performance jump over the 2.3L variants. Inside, you get a larger 12-inch touchscreen and a premium B&O audio system that elevates the daily driving experience.

Bronco vs Segment Rivals

Against the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, the Bronco leads in high-speed highway stability and interior ergonomics, making it a better dual-purpose vehicle for the GCC. Compared to the Toyota Land Cruiser 70-series, it offers far superior modern technology, including the G.O.A.T. modes and a 10-speed automatic transmission. Its independent front suspension provides a more comfortable ride during long drives between emirates than traditional solid-axle competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.7L V6 averages around 12-14 L/100km in mixed GCC driving, which is competitive for a vehicle with 35-inch tires. Ford's authorized service network is extensive across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, with recommended service intervals typically every 10,000 km. The Bronco has shown exceptional value retention in the local market, often holding over 85% of its value after the first year due to high demand and production constraints.

Performance & Capability

The 2.7L EcoBoost V6 delivers a verified 330 hp and 563 Nm of torque, enabling confident overtaking on fast-moving UAE highways. Its off-road capability is defined by a maximum wading depth of 850 mm and class-leading ground clearance that makes it a top-tier choice for Liwa or Fossil Rock excursions. The 10-speed automatic is optimized for the region's heat, maintaining smooth shifts even during demanding desert climbs.

Comfort & Cabin

This four-seater cabin is designed for the GCC climate, featuring a powerful dual-zone climate control system and high-quality insulation to combat summer heat. The removable hardtop panels allow for an open-air experience during the winter months, while the marine-grade vinyl or leather-trimmed seats are easy to clean after sandy weekends. Modern tech highlights include wireless Apple CarPlay and a high-resolution 360-degree camera system for tight parking.

Safety

Standard safety features include the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite with Blind Spot Information System (BLIS), which is essential for multi-lane highway driving. It also features Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking and a robust stability control system tuned for high-center-of-gravity vehicles. The inclusion of six airbags and a high-strength steel frame provides excellent peace of mind for both city and trail use.

The bottom line

For the GCC enthusiast who values maneuverability and high-spec off-road hardware, this Wildtrak offers a well-maintained, iconic silhouette with the region's most desirable factory performance upgrades.
