• 626 hp from a hand-built 6.0L W12 engine
• Top speed of 306 km/h

Summary

This 2022 Bentley Bentayga Speed represents the mechanical peak of the model line, featuring the legendary twin-turbocharged W12 engine that is now a discontinued rarity. With only 35,500 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the 20,000–25,000 km annual average typical for GCC luxury SUVs, ensuring its hand-assembled components remain in prime condition. The Black-on-Black color combination is the most sought-after specification in the UAE market, providing maximum resale strength and a commanding presence on the road. For the enthusiast, this Speed trim offers a level of chassis engagement and straight-line performance that the V8 cannot match, while maintaining the peerless refinement Bentley is known for. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it is fully optimized for the region's climate with the highest-tier cooling systems and interior protection.

This Car vs Other 2022 Bentaygas

At 4 years old, this Bentayga Speed shows 35,500 km, which is exceptionally low for a region where long-distance highway commutes are standard. Most 2022 models in the GCC market will have covered nearly double this distance, making this a high-tier selection for longevity-focused buyers. The black exterior is the benchmark for value retention in the UAE, consistently outperforming lighter shades at trade-in.

SPEED vs Lower Trims

The Speed is the only trim in the 2022 lineup to feature the 6.0L W12 engine, delivering a massive 900 Nm of torque that the V8 simply cannot replicate. Beyond the engine, the Speed adds a more aggressive Styling Specification with carbon fiber accents, dark-tinted lamps, and unique 22-inch wheels. Inside, the cabin receives a bespoke Speed color split and Alcantara trim, paired with Bentley Dynamic Ride—a 48V active anti-roll system that keeps the SUV flat through corners.

Bentayga vs Segment Rivals

While the Lamborghini Urus focuses on raw aggression and the Rolls-Royce Cullinan on absolute isolation, the Bentayga Speed leads the segment as the world's fastest production SUV of its time. It offers a larger 85-liter fuel tank than many competitors, making it better suited for cross-border GCC travel. The interior craftsmanship remains the industry standard, using sustainable veneers and hides that hold up better to the intense GCC sun than the more minimalist cabins of its rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

The W12 powertrain is a high-performance masterpiece requiring specialized care, with authorized service centers readily available across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. Fuel consumption is rated at approximately 14.3 L/100km combined, though city driving in stop-start traffic will see this figure rise significantly. As the final iteration of the pure W12 engine, this trim is expected to hold its value better than the V8, following a historical depreciation pattern of roughly 12-15% annually in the GCC market. Maintenance intervals are typically every 16,000 km or 12 months.

Performance & Capability

The headline figure is the 306 km/h top speed, making this one of the few SUVs capable of keeping pace with supercars on the open road. The 900 Nm of torque provides effortless overtaking power on highways like the E11, even when fully loaded with passengers. The eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive system are calibrated to handle high-temperature operations, ensuring consistent performance during the peak of the GCC summer.

Comfort & Cabin

This five-seat configuration features the highest grade of Bentley hides, with ventilated and massaging front seats that are essential for UAE summers. The four-zone climate control system is engineered to rapidly cool the cabin even after being parked in 45°C heat. The interior is a sanctuary of silence thanks to acoustic glazing, ensuring that long drives between emirates are whisper-quiet and fatigue-free.

Safety

This Speed trim comes standard with a comprehensive ADAS suite, including Night Vision, a Head-Up Display, and a 360-degree camera system for navigating tight city parking. Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Assist provide significant relief during long desert highway stretches, while the massive carbon-ceramic brakes (where equipped) or high-performance steel rotors provide immense stopping power. The vehicle is equipped with a full array of front, side, and curtain airbags to protect all five occupants.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own the W12 pinnacle of the Bentayga range with low mileage and the most desirable GCC color spec, ideal for the buyer who demands supercar performance without sacrificing Bentley luxury.
