Summary

This 2022 Ford Mustang GT Premium is a standout choice in the GCC market, offering the visceral appeal of a naturally aspirated V8 paired with the region's preferred white exterior for better heat management and resale stability. With just 33,483 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven well below the GCC annual average for a 4-year-old car, ensuring it remains in peak mechanical health. The GT Premium trim elevates the iconic muscle car experience with a significantly more refined cabin compared to the base GT. As a GCC-spec model, it is fully optimized for local conditions, from the cooling system to the long-distance highway comfort that makes it a top-tier daily performer across the Emirates. For any enthusiast seeking a modern classic that balances raw performance with contemporary tech, this low-mileage example represents a secure and high-value opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2022 Mustangs

With only 33,483 km covered over 4 years, this Mustang's mileage is exceptionally low for the GCC, where the average annual usage typically exceeds 20,000 km. While many same-year models in the UAE market have already passed the 70,000 km mark, this example offers a much fresher mechanical profile. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the region, ensuring maximum heat reflection during peak summer and high liquid resale value when it's time to trade up.

GT PREMIUM vs Lower Trims

The GT Premium trim is a major step up from the base GT, replacing the standard cloth seats with heated and ventilated leather upholstery, a critical upgrade for the GCC climate. It also introduces the SYNC 3 infotainment system on a larger touchscreen with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with an upgraded 9-speaker audio system. These additions, along with selectable drive modes and aluminum pedals, make the Premium the most desirable configuration for both comfort and long-term resale.

Mustang vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Chevrolet Camaro SS and Dodge Challenger R/T, the Mustang leads with its sophisticated 10-speed automatic transmission, which offers a more refined power delivery on the highway. While rivals focus on straight-line speed, the Mustang's independent rear suspension provides superior cornering stability for weekend drives through Jebel Jais. Additionally, the availability of parts and the widespread Ford service network in the UAE give it a maintenance advantage over its American competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 5.0L V8 averages approximately 12.7L/100km in a combined cycle, though highway cruising can drop this to 9.0L/100km. Service intervals in the GCC are typically every 10,000 km, with authorized service centers readily available in every major city across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. The Mustang GT Premium maintains one of the strongest value retention rates in the sports coupe segment, typically depreciating slower than European rivals due to its legendary reliability and simple mechanical architecture.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this machine is the 5.0L Coyote V8, delivering a verified 450 hp and a 0–100 km/h time of 4.9 seconds. The 10-speed SelectShift automatic is tuned to handle the high-speed overtakes common on the E11, while the selectable exhaust modes allow you to quiet the engine for city neighborhoods or open it up for the track. With three distinct steering settings and dedicated Track Apps, this car offers a highly customizable driving experience that feels at home on both a morning commute and a high-performance circuit.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the GT Premium features a 2+2 seating layout with front bucket seats that are both heated and cooled to combat the 45°C summer heat. The cabin is surprisingly well-insulated from road noise, making it a viable grand tourer for long cross-border trips between GCC capitals. Dual-zone automatic climate control is standard, ensuring consistent cabin temperatures even when the sun is at its peak. The inclusion of a 9-speaker premium sound system provides a high-fidelity soundtrack to the V8’s natural rumble.

Safety

This Mustang comes equipped with Ford's full suite of safety features, including Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with Cross-Traffic Alert, which is essential for multi-lane Dubai highways. It also includes Lane-Keeping System, Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, and a rearview camera as standard. The 8-airbag system and electronic stability control provide comprehensive protection, ensuring this performance car is as safe as it is engaging.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer, this low-mileage, white-on-leather GT Premium is the perfect balance of iconic V8 soul and modern UAE-ready reliability.
