Summary

This 2022 Mercedes-Benz C200 AMG Coupe is an exceptional find for UAE buyers, offering a mileage of just 35,000 km which is significantly below the local average for its age. The black-on-black color combination remains one of the most sought-after configurations in the GCC market, ensuring strong resale liquidity. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it comes with a cooling system and air conditioning hardware specifically engineered to handle the extreme summer temperatures of the region. This model balances the sharp, modern aesthetics of the C-Class Coupe with an efficient 2.0L powertrain that is ideal for both city commuting and long highway drives between emirates.

This Car vs Other 2022 C200s

With only 35,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven less than half the typical annual average for the GCC, which often sees 20,000–25,000 km per year. The black exterior is the top-performing resale color in the regional market, providing a distinct advantage over brighter or less traditional shades. Being a GCC-spec example, it avoids the insurance and warranty complications often found with American or European imports.

AMG vs Lower Trims

The AMG trim transforms the C200's presence with 18-inch AMG 5-spoke wheels, a signature diamond radiator grille, and a more aggressive body kit that lower trims lack. Inside, you benefit from a flat-bottom sport steering wheel and sport seats that provide significantly better lateral support. This trim also standardizes the panoramic sunroof and enhanced LED lighting, features that are highly valued by buyers in the local pre-owned market.

C200 vs Segment Rivals

The C200 Coupe leads its segment rivals, like the BMW 4 Series and Audi A5, in interior technology and cabin material quality, largely mirroring the flagship S-Class design. Its 66-litre fuel tank is generous for a compact coupe, offering superior highway range for long-distance trips across the GCC borders. The Mercedes-Benz MBUX interface is widely considered the most intuitive and visually impressive system currently available in this class.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 2.0L powertrain averages approximately 6.8 to 7.2 L/100km, making it one of the more economical luxury coupes for daily Dubai traffic. Service intervals are typically every 15,000 km, and Mercedes-Benz maintains the most extensive authorized service network in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The C-Class Coupe retains approximately 65-70% of its value after three years in the GCC, outperforming many of its European competitors in long-term value retention.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0L turbocharged engine delivers a verified 201 hp, allowing for a 0-100 km/h time of 7.2 seconds, which provides plenty of punch for merging onto fast-moving highways like Sheikh Zayed Road. The 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission is tuned for seamless shifts, keeping the engine in its optimal power band while cruising at high speeds. Rear-wheel drive dynamics ensure a classic sports car feel, while selectable drive modes allow you to stiffen the steering and sharpen throttle response for weekend drives.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a 4-seat layout that prioritizes front-passenger luxury, featuring dual-zone climate control with powerful cooling vents designed for the desert climate. High-quality acoustic glass helps isolate the interior from road noise during high-speed highway travel, creating a refined atmosphere. The 2022 model year benefits from the latest digital cockpit, providing a high-resolution experience that remains sharp even in direct midday sun.

Safety

This C200 AMG comes standard with a comprehensive suite of safety systems including Active Brake Assist, Attention Assist, and Blind Spot Assist, which is vital for the multi-lane highway environment of the GCC. The vehicle features seven airbags and a high-strength steel passenger cell that earned top ratings in international crash testing. Adaptive braking technology helps maintain stability on sand-dusted road surfaces, providing extra confidence in varied local conditions.

The bottom line

This is a low-mileage, GCC-spec coupe in the region's best resale color, making it a safe and stylish investment for a professional buyer who values both efficiency and prestige.
