Summary

This 2022 Nissan Kicks SV represents a balanced choice for urban commuters and small families in the GCC, offering a modern feature set in a reliable, white exterior that excels at heat reflection and resale. With its fuel-efficient 1.6L engine, it manages stop-start city traffic and long highway stretches between emirates with ease and economy. The SV trim is a significant step up from the base model, adding essential convenience and safety tech that local buyers prioritize. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from a robust regional service network and air conditioning systems designed for the extreme local climate. This specific listing offers a well-maintained entry point into the popular subcompact SUV segment without the steeper depreciation of a brand-new car.

This Car vs Other 2022 Kicks

With 88,796 km, this Kicks sits at an average mileage for a 2022 model in the GCC, where annual driving typically reaches 25,000 km. The white paint is the most practical and sought-after color in the region, providing a genuine advantage for future resale value. It remains mechanically current with the latest generation, ensuring compatibility with all modern Nissan service protocols.

SV vs Lower Trims

The SV trim adds 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and body-colored exterior trim that distinguish it from the base S model's steel wheels. Inside, you get a larger 8-inch NissanConnect touchscreen and the Advanced Drive-Assist Display, along with essential GCC comforts like automatic climate control and remote engine start to cool the cabin before entry. Crucially, the SV includes Intelligent Cruise Control and an electronic parking brake, features often missing in lower specifications.

Kicks vs Segment Rivals

The Nissan Kicks leads segment rivals like the Hyundai Venue and Toyota Raize in rear passenger legroom and overall cargo versatility. While competitors may offer smaller engines, the Kicks 1.6L provides a more stable highway experience for cross-border trips or long desert highway drives. Its fuel efficiency remains a primary differentiator, rivaling hybrid models in real-world combined consumption.

Running Costs & Resale

Running costs are among the lowest in the SUV segment, with a manufacturer-estimated combined efficiency of 7.2 L/100km. Service intervals in the GCC are typically every 10,000 km, supported by one of the region's most extensive authorized dealer networks. The Kicks historically retains its value well, with 3-year residual values often reaching 75-80% of original price in the UAE market, outperforming many European rivals.

Performance & Capability

The 1.6L four-cylinder engine delivers a reliable 122 hp, enabling a 0-100 km/h time of approximately 10.7 seconds, which is competitive for the subcompact class. The Xtronic CVT is tuned for smooth power delivery in urban traffic while maintaining efficiency at highway speeds. With 178 mm of ground clearance, it easily handles speed bumps and gravel access roads common in newer GCC residential developments.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features Nissan's renowned seating ergonomics with room for five and a clever 60/40 split rear seat configuration. The boot provides 479 litres of space with seats up, expanding to a class-leading 716 litres for larger hauls. High-output air conditioning and rear-view monitoring make daily operations comfortable even during the peak summer months.

Safety

Safety is a standout feature for the SV trim, which includes the Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite as standard. This provides Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Warning, and Blind Spot Monitoring, which are vital for the fast-paced multi-lane highways of the GCC. It also features Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Rear Automatic Braking, adding an extra layer of protection in tight parking environments.

The bottom line

Perfect for the value-conscious professional or young family, this Kicks SV combines high tech and low running costs in the GCC's most resilient resale color.
