Summary

This 2023 Bentley Continental GT S represents a rare opportunity to acquire a nearly-new grand tourer with exceptionally low mileage that sits well below the typical GCC annual average. The S trim is the most driver-focused iteration of the V8 model, offering a sharper edge and more aggressive styling that resonates perfectly with the high-performance culture of the UAE. Finished in black, it occupies the most desirable color category for resale value in the local market, ensuring it remains a liquid asset for its next owner. While the Continental GT is often compared to the Aston Martin DB11 or Ferrari Roma, it stands alone in its ability to blend effortless cross-border cruising with a sophisticated, hand-crafted interior. For a buyer in the GCC, this specific listing offers the chance to skip the long lead times of a bespoke order while securing a vehicle that is essentially in showroom condition. Its combination of a potent V8 and an agile chassis makes it ideal for both the fast-paced highways of Dubai and the winding mountain roads of Jebel Jais. This is a definitive choice for those who value mechanical soul and daily-driveable luxury in a region that appreciates the very best in automotive engineering.

This Car vs Other 2023 Continental GTs

With just 3007 km on the odometer, this vehicle has effectively bypassed the standard 20,000–25,000 km annual usage typically seen in the GCC, making it one of the freshest examples available on the market today. Most 2023 models currently in the region have already completed several trips between major cities like Abu Dhabi and Dubai, whereas this car has barely finished its initial break-in period. The exterior black finish is a significant advantage in the local market; not only does it provide a timeless aesthetic, but it also consistently commands a higher resale price and faster turnover than more adventurous shades. This low-mileage profile suggests that the mechanical components, including the active suspension and twin-turbo systems, are in pristine condition. For a discerning collector or a daily driver, the lack of road wear on the underbody and front fascia makes this a standout choice compared to higher-mileage alternatives. Choosing a car with such limited use ensures that you are the one to experience its peak performance years.

S vs Lower Trims

The S trim is a significant step up from the standard V8 model, specifically designed to enhance the sensory experience of the car through both sound and handling. It introduces the Sports Exhaust as standard, which provides a much more visceral and deep V8 rumble that is highly appreciated by enthusiasts in the GCC. Beyond the sound, the S model features the Bentley Dynamic Ride system, a 48V active anti-roll control that keeps the car incredibly flat through corners, a feature often optional on lower trims. Visually, the S trim swaps out much of the exterior chrome for high-gloss black 'Brightware,' giving it a stealthy, modern appearance that fits perfectly with the local preference for aggressive styling. Inside, you will find unique S-specific color splits and Dinamica upholstery, which stays cooler to the touch than traditional leather during the intense summer heat of the UAE. This trim effectively bridges the gap between the base model and the W12, offering the agility of the lighter V8 with the visual drama usually reserved for the top-tier Speed models.

Continental GT vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the Aston Martin DB11 or the Maserati GranTurismo, the Bentley Continental GT S offers a superior balance of daily usability and ultra-luxury craftsmanship. Its 90-litre fuel tank is a massive benefit for long-distance GCC travel, allowing for non-stop journeys from Dubai to Muscat or Riyadh with fewer fuel stops than its more thirsty competitors. The Bentley's infotainment and driver assistance systems are also more refined and user-friendly, benefiting from a robust technological architecture that rivals often struggle to match. While Italian competitors might offer more flamboyant styling, they cannot compete with the Bentley’s cabin insulation, which is designed to keep the interior silent and cool even when outside temperatures exceed 45°C. Additionally, the Continental GT provides a more substantial presence on the road, with a build quality that feels engineered to last decades rather than years. For the GCC buyer who needs a car that is as comfortable in a high-end valet queue as it is on a 500 km highway stretch, the Bentley is the undisputed leader.

Running Costs & Resale

Owning a Bentley in the GCC is supported by an established network of authorized service centers in major hubs like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Doha, ensuring that professional maintenance is always within reach. The 4.0L V8 is a highly reliable powertrain that, while thirsty in stop-start city traffic, achieves surprisingly efficient figures on the open highway thanks to cylinder deactivation technology. While this is a European spec model, it shares the same core mechanical components as GCC spec cars, though buyers should verify service package portability with local dealers. In terms of depreciation, the Continental GT S holds its value remarkably well compared to other European exotics, typically retaining a high percentage of its MSRP after three years due to its enduring popularity in the region. Since black is a high-demand color in the UAE, this car is likely to sell much faster than those in less traditional colors when it comes time to upgrade. Expect service intervals every 16,000 km or once a year, which is standard for a vehicle of this caliber in this climate.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this machine is a hand-built 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 producing 542 hp, capable of launching this coupe from 0-100 km/h in a staggering 4.0 seconds. This level of performance is particularly enjoyable on the UAE's world-class highway network, where the car's mid-range torque allows for effortless overtaking. The top speed of 318 km/h is academic, but the stability the car shows at high speeds is a testament to its aerodynamic design and sophisticated all-wheel-drive system. The 8-speed dual-clutch transmission provides lightning-fast shifts in Sport mode while remaining completely imperceptible during relaxed commutes. Drive modes allow the pilot to transform the car from a soft, wafting cruiser into a sharpened sports car at the touch of a dial, adjusting the air suspension and steering weight accordingly. This versatility is essential in the GCC, where a car must often serve as both a prestigious daily commuter and a weekend escape vehicle. The carbon-ceramic braking options often found on this trim ensure that even after repeated high-speed use in the heat, stopping power remains consistent and fade-free.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior of the Continental GT S is a sanctuary of hand-stitched leather and premium materials, designed to accommodate four passengers in absolute comfort. Bentley’s air conditioning systems are legendary for their ability to neutralize the desert heat, and this model features multi-zone climate control that ensures every occupant stays refreshed. The seats are highly adjustable and include heating and ventilation, a critical feature for the GCC climate that ensures comfort even during the peak of summer. Acoustic glazing and extensive soundproofing keep the cabin incredibly quiet, shielding you from the noise of the city and wind roar at highway speeds. This car is also equipped with a top-tier audio system, likely the Naim for Bentley or Bang & Olufsen, providing a concert-hall experience on every drive. The 'Rotating Display' is a centerpiece of the dashboard, allowing you to choose between a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a trio of elegant analog dials, or a clean veneer panel. Every surface you touch, from the knurled metal switchgear to the soft-touch Alcantara, reinforces the feeling that this is a vehicle built without compromise.

Safety

Safety in the Continental GT S is handled by an array of advanced driver assistance systems that are particularly useful on the multi-lane highways of the GCC. Standard features include Night Vision, which uses infra-red cameras to detect pedestrians or animals on unlit desert roads, and a Head-Up Display that keeps vital information in your line of sight. Adaptive Cruise Control with Traffic Jam Assist makes the heavy afternoon congestion on Sheikh Zayed Road much less taxing by managing speed and distance automatically. The car also features Lane Assist and Blind Spot Tools, which are vital for safety when navigating the fast-moving traffic common in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Beyond active tech, the car is built around a high-strength steel and aluminum spaceframe that provides exceptional structural integrity. Multiple airbags and a sophisticated stability control system ensure that the Bentley remains composed even in emergency maneuvers on sandy or dusty surfaces.

The bottom line

This 2023 Bentley Continental GT S is the perfect acquisition for the executive who demands the prestige of a hand-built British icon without the wait time of a new order. Given its incredibly low mileage and high-demand color, this listing represents one of the most secure and enjoyable investments in the current GCC luxury car market.
