The most special and unique aspect of this Daytona SP3 is also that it was signed by F1 Drivers- Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz Jr. in Gold on engine cover.
 
At the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona, Ferrari took the top three places in the first round of the International World Sports Car Championship. The Ferrari Daytona SP3, the second car to join the limited edition Icona side by side perfectly encapsulated the spirit of the sports prototypes of the 1960s, a decade now considered the golden era of closed-wheel racing. The Ferrari Daytona SP3, the second car to join the limited edition Icona series, pays homage to the mid-rear-engined Ferrari V12 sports prototypes that earned the marque its unparalleled motorsport status.
 
The Icona series was launched in 2018 with the Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2. The Icona series celebrates Ferrari history by reinterpreting the styling of the marque's most iconic cars to radically modern effect. The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is based on one of the most spectacular feats in Ferrari sporting history, when it famously took the top three places at the 24 Hours of Daytona on 6 February 1967.
 
Although inspired by the racing cars of the 1960s, the Ferrari Daytona SP3 is clothed in original, modern forms. Its expressive power celebrates the volumes of sports prototypes to wholly contemporary effect.
