Summary

This 3-year-old Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 represents a rare opportunity to own a precision-engineered track weapon with remarkably low mileage for the GCC market. Finished in a resale-strong Grey, this GCC-spec example features the highly sought-after 4.0-litre naturally aspirated engine paired with the lightning-fast PDK transmission. The GT4 trim is a significant step up in focus and collectibility compared to the standard 718 range, making it a standout choice for enthusiasts. For the local buyer, this car offers the perfect balance of visceral performance for weekend drives and the reliability of an authorized regional service network.

This Car vs Other 2023 718 Caymans

With just 13,941 km on the odometer, this GT4 has covered significantly less ground than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC. This low usage is a major advantage for a performance-oriented model where mechanical freshness is key. The Grey exterior is one of the most stable colors for value retention in the UAE, ensuring it remains highly desirable in the secondary market.

GT4 vs Lower Trims

The GT4 is a different beast compared to the GTS 4.0, featuring a bespoke GT chassis and a massive fixed rear wing that produces 20% more downforce than its predecessor. It adds adjustable sports suspension (toe, camber, and anti-roll bars) and larger aerodynamic diffusers borrowed from Porsche's racing programs. Buyers also benefit from the GT-specific cooling system, essential for maintaining peak performance during high-temperature GCC summers.

718 Cayman vs Segment Rivals

In the GCC, the GT4 is frequently cross-shopped against the Lotus Emira and the BMW M4 CSL. While rivals focus on raw power or grand touring comfort, the Porsche leads with its mid-engine balance and a naturally aspirated engine that revs to an incredible 8,000 rpm. Its 64-litre fuel tank provides a respectable range for inter-emirate highway drives compared to more compromised track-only competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this high-performance flat-six sits around 11.0 L/100km combined, though city driving in stop-start Dubai traffic will see this increase. Service intervals are recommended every 15,000 km or annually at authorized Porsche centers, which are well-established across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The GT4 enjoys some of the strongest value retention in the sports car segment, typically depreciating much slower than non-GT Porsche models.

Performance & Capability

Launching from 0–100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, the GT4 delivers linear, uninterrupted power that is perfect for highway overtaking and track days at the Dubai Autodrome. The 420 Nm of torque is delivered via a rear-wheel-drive system tuned for maximum traction and driver feedback. Its top speed of 302 km/h confirms its status as a true supercar-killer, supported by Porsche Stability Management (PSM) for composed handling on both sand-dusted roads and tarmac.

Comfort & Cabin

The two-seat cabin is focused entirely on the driver, featuring GT-specific materials and a 360 mm steering wheel for direct control. Despite its track focus, the air conditioning system is exceptionally robust, designed to combat extreme GCC heat effectively. The mid-engine layout also allows for two luggage compartments—a 150-litre frunk and a 270-litre rear boot—providing surprising practicality for weekend road trips.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with refined ABS, ensuring the car remains stable even under aggressive braking. The GT4 features advanced airbag systems and reinforced body structures designed for high-speed integrity. Blind-spot monitoring and high-performance LED lighting are vital for safety on fast-moving, multi-lane GCC highways during night driving.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec GT4 is the definitive choice for a collector or enthusiast looking for a low-mileage, modern classic that excels on both the winding roads of Jebel Jais and the daily commute.
