Summary

This 2024 Ford Bronco Raptor represents a significant opportunity to own the ultimate off-road evolution of the Bronco badge with low mileage for the GCC market. Finished in Shelter Green, a distinctive and increasingly popular choice in the region, this American-spec Raptor offers high-speed desert performance that standard SUVs simply cannot match. With its signature wide-body stance and factory 37-inch tires, it provides immense presence on UAE highways and unmatched capability in the Liwa or Fossil Rock dunes. For a GCC buyer, the primary consideration is the specialized HOSS 4.0 suspension, which delivers a level of high-speed stability and comfort over rough terrain that justifies its position at the top of the Bronco hierarchy.

This Car vs Other 2024 Bronco Raptors

With only 27,000 km, this unit is well below the typical 40,000–50,000 km usually seen on 2024 models driven across the Emirates. While American-spec vehicles are common in the UAE, the low mileage on this example helps mitigate long-term maintenance concerns. The Shelter Green exterior is a sought-after shade that stands out in a market dominated by white and silver, supporting better value retention among enthusiasts.

RAPTOR vs Lower Trims

The Raptor is a total re-engineering rather than just a trim, adding 248 mm of additional width and the exclusive 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine not found on the Wildtrak or Badlands. It features the HOSS 4.0 suspension with FOX Live Valve 3.1 internal bypass semi-active dampers, providing significantly more travel and cooling for desert runs. Inside, it adds Raptor-specific bolstered seats and a 12-inch digital instrument cluster with unique performance displays.

Bronco vs Segment Rivals

The Bronco Raptor leads the Jeep Wrangler 392 in high-speed desert stability due to its much wider track and sophisticated independent front suspension. Against the Land Rover Defender 110 V8, the Raptor offers a more durable, purpose-built mechanical setup for extreme sand driving and easier modifications for overlanding. Its 13.1-inch ground clearance is significantly higher than both rivals in their stock configurations.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption in the GCC typically averages around 15.7 L/100km in city traffic, dropping slightly on long highway hauls between cities. As an American-spec vehicle, owners should verify service compatibility at local authorized centers, though the Raptor's shared powertrain components with other Ford models ensure parts are generally accessible in the UAE. Value retention for the Raptor remains high due to its flagship status, though GCC-spec units typically command a 10–15% premium at resale.

Performance & Capability

The 418 hp twin-turbo V6 enables a 0–100 km/h sprint in approximately 6 seconds, an impressive feat for a vehicle on 37-inch all-terrain tires. The Raptor is built for high-speed desert crossings, featuring G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) modes including a dedicated Baja mode for sand. Its heavy-duty bash plates and 4,500 lbs towing capacity make it a versatile tool for weekend desert expeditions and hauling toys to the coast.

Comfort & Cabin

Designed for five passengers, the cabin features marine-grade vinyl or optional leather/suede surfaces that are resilient to the sand and dust of the Gulf. The powerful dual-zone climate control is supplemented by rear vents to ensure all passengers stay cool during summer drives. A 12-inch center touchscreen with SYNC 4 provides seamless wireless connectivity, and the removable roof panels offer a unique open-air experience for the winter months.

Safety

This trim includes the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite as standard, offering essential systems for UAE highway driving such as Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) and Lane-Keeping Assist. The Raptor's reinforced high-strength steel frame and advanced traction control systems provide extra security when navigating loose gravel or sand. It also features a 360-degree camera system, which is vital for maneuvering such a wide vehicle in tight city parking spots.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast looking for the most capable factory off-roader available, this low-mileage Raptor offers incredible performance and a unique color at a competitive entry point for the UAE market.
