Summary

This 2024 Jaguar F-TYPE R-DYNAMIC offers a refined balance of British performance and daily usability, featuring a lightweight 2.0L turbocharged engine that enhances front-end agility. With just over 20,000 km, this example sits perfectly at the average annual mileage mark for the UAE, suggesting a well-maintained car that has seen consistent use rather than long periods of storage. The Green exterior is a sophisticated choice for the GCC market, offering a unique presence on the road that stands out from the common silver and white palette while maintaining a premium aesthetic. As the final production year for the internal combustion F-TYPE, this model represents the last opportunity to own a brand-new generation of Jaguar's iconic sports car heritage. For a GCC buyer, the standard GCC specification is the critical highlight, ensuring the cooling systems and warranty are fully optimized for the local environment.

This Car vs Other 2024 F-TYPEs

With 20,202 km on the odometer, this F-TYPE aligns with the typical annual usage for premium sports cars in the UAE, where highway commutes are the norm. While many 2024 models are V8s, this 2.0L variant offers a significant advantage in front-end weight distribution and agility for city driving. The Green exterior is a rarer, high-character choice that often appeals to enthusiast collectors looking for a classic British racing aesthetic in the GCC.

R- DYNAMIC vs Lower Trims

The R-DYNAMIC trim is the definitive spec for the F-TYPE, adding the R-DYNAMIC body pack and 20-inch alloy wheels that are essential for the car's visual stance. Inside, it upgrades to 12-way power-adjustable heated memory seats and the premium Meridian audio system, features that are highly valued in the GCC for both comfort and resale. It also includes the Interactive Driver Display as standard, providing a full digital cockpit experience that base models may lack.

F-TYPE vs Segment Rivals

The F-TYPE competes directly with the Porsche 718 Cayman and the BMW Z4, standing out with its timeless grand tourer design and larger 63-litre fuel tank, which is better suited for long Abu Dhabi to Dubai highway runs. While German rivals focus on clinical precision, the Jaguar offers a more emotional design and standard premium amenities like the Meridian sound system. Its rear-wheel-drive layout provides a pure sports car experience that remains comfortable for daily use in GCC traffic.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.0L Ingenium engine delivers an official combined fuel consumption of approximately 8.1 L/100km, making it significantly more efficient for daily UAE commuting than the thirsty V8 alternatives. Jaguar's authorized service network is well-established across the UAE and wider GCC through partners like Al Tayer Motors, with standard service intervals every 13,000 km. As 2024 is the final production year, this model is expected to show better value retention compared to mid-cycle years as it transitions into a modern classic.

Performance & Capability

A top speed of 250 km/h and 0–100 km/h acceleration in 5.7 seconds ensures this coupe has plenty of power for confident highway overtaking on the E11. The 300 hp turbocharged engine is paired with a quick-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission, providing smooth power delivery in both stop-start city traffic and open road driving. The rear-wheel-drive configuration and electronic adaptive suspension allow for a tailorable driving experience through the configurable dynamics system.

Comfort & Cabin

The two-seat cabin is a focused cockpit featuring a blend of leather and suedecloth, designed to stay comfortable even in the extreme UAE summer heat. Dual-zone climate control and a powerful air conditioning system are engineered to maintain cabin temperature effectively in 45°C+ conditions. The 10-inch Touch Pro infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ensuring seamless connectivity for long-distance GCC journeys.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes a comprehensive ADAS suite with Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, which are vital for safety on busy multi-lane UAE highways. It also features Lane Keeping Assist, Emergency Braking, and front and rear parking sensors to make urban maneuvering simpler. The rigid aluminum architecture provides a safe and stable platform, complemented by a full array of airbags for maximum occupant protection.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec 2024 F-TYPE is the perfect choice for the driver who wants the looks of a supercar with the efficiency and reliability of a modern daily driver in the final year of a Jaguar icon.
