Summary

This 2024 McLaren 750S Spider represents the sharpest edge of the British marque's supercar lineup, offering a significant evolution over its predecessor with increased power and reduced weight. With only 3,000 km, this GCC-spec example is barely broken in, offering a near-new ownership experience without the initial depreciation of a showroom delivery. The Grey exterior is a highly desirable and stable choice for the local market, ensuring strong resale interest across the UAE and wider GCC. For a buyer in the region, this is the ultimate open-top performer, blending daily-driveable comfort with track-ready dynamics that thrive on the UAE’s high-speed road network. It stands as a compelling alternative to rivals, delivering a purer mechanical connection and more aggressive power-to-weight ratio.

This Car vs Other 2024 750Ss

With just 3,000 km on the odometer, this 750S Spider sits well below the typical 10,000 to 15,000 km average seen for performance cars in their first year of GCC use. This low-mileage status ensures the mechanical components and carbon fibre structure remain in pristine, like-new condition. The Grey finish is a high-demand palette in the local market, offering better long-term value retention than more niche, high-visibility launch colors.

SPIDER vs Lower Trims

The Spider trim adds the Retractable Hard Top (RHT) which operates in just 11 seconds, allowing for open-air driving without compromising the structural rigidity of the carbon fibre Monocage II-S. Unlike lower-tier performance models, the 750S Spider standardizes the short-travel suspension and the louder, lightweight center-exit exhaust system. It also features the updated McLaren Infotainment System with Apple CarPlay and a dedicated 'McLaren Control Launcher' for instant access to personalized aero and powertrain settings.

750S vs Segment Rivals

Against rivals like the Ferrari 296 GTS and Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica, the 750S Spider leads with a class-leading power-to-weight ratio of 579 bhp-per-tonne. Its twin-turbo V8 provides a more visceral, mechanical experience compared to the hybrid-assisted Ferrari, while the hydraulic steering offers superior feedback on technical drives like Jebel Jais. The 150-litre total luggage capacity, including the front trunk, makes it more practical for weekend trips across the Emirates than many of its mid-engine competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption is estimated at approximately 12.2 L/100km on the highway, though city driving in GCC traffic will see this figure rise significantly. Service intervals are strictly every 15,000 km or 12 months, and as a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from full support across McLaren's authorized service centers in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and Kuwait. While high-end supercars face steep initial depreciation, the 750S is currently holding value well in the local market due to its status as the final evolution of the non-hybrid V8 platform.

Performance & Capability

The 750S Spider delivers a staggering top speed of 332 km/h, powered by 800 Nm of torque delivered to the rear wheels. The Proactive Chassis Control III suspension has been specifically tuned with softer front springs and stiffer rear springs to enhance comfort on GCC highways while maintaining razor-sharp turn-in. The 0–200 km/h sprint is achieved in just 7.3 seconds, ensuring effortless overtaking capability at any speed.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is focused on driver engagement but includes essential GCC comforts like powerful air conditioning and high-grade Alcantara upholstery that stays cooler than leather in summer heat. The thin-rimmed steering wheel and carbon-shelled seats provide a lightweight aesthetic that doesn't sacrifice long-distance support. Noise insulation is significantly improved over the previous generation, making long drives between Abu Dhabi and Dubai surprisingly refined with the roof closed.

Safety

Safety is anchored by the incredibly strong carbon fibre Monocage II-S, which provides roll-over protection without the need for heavy steel reinforcements. Standard safety tech includes a 360-degree Park Assist system, which is vital for protecting the low-slung carbon bodywork in tight city parking. Additionally, electronic stability control with multiple modes ensures the car remains manageable on sandy or dusty road surfaces common in the region.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec 750S Spider is the perfect acquisition for a collector or enthusiast who wants the peak of McLaren's internal combustion engineering with minimal mileage and the security of a regional warranty.
