• Full ADAS suite including ProPilot Assist standard
• Extensive GCC authorised service network

Summary

This 2024 Nissan Pathfinder SV offers a nearly new driving experience with just 21,500 km on the odometer, well below the typical 40,000–50,000 km expected for a two-year-old vehicle in the GCC. Finished in a high-resale Grey, this mid-size SUV balances modern aesthetics with the legendary reliability of Nissan’s 3.5L V6 powertrain. The SV trim is the 'sweet spot' for regional buyers, providing essential driver-assist technology and improved cabin comfort without the steep premium of the SL or Platinum trims. For the family-oriented driver in the Emirates or across the border, this Pathfinder represents one of the most practical and dependable ways to navigate both city commutes and long highway hauls.

This Car vs Other 2024 Pathfinders

With only 21,500 km, this Pathfinder has seen significantly less road time than the average GCC unit of the same age, which typically covers 20,000 km annually. Its grey exterior is a highly sought-after, heat-reflective choice that maintains strong value in the local used market. Choosing this specific unit allows you to skip the initial steep depreciation of a new car while still benefiting from the remainder of its manufacturer-backed reliability.

SV vs Lower Trims

The SV trim is a major step up from the base S model, adding ProPilot Assist, which provides semi-autonomous highway cruising essential for the E11 or E311. You also gain remote engine start to pre-cool the cabin before you enter, along with power-adjustable heated seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. These features significantly enhance the daily ownership experience in the GCC's demanding climate.

Pathfinder vs Segment Rivals

The Pathfinder leads rivals like the Toyota Highlander and Honda Pilot with a robust 6,000-pound maximum towing capacity and a smoother 9-speed automatic transmission that replaced the older CVT. Its V6 engine offers more 'raw power' for highway merging compared to the 4-cylinder turbo alternatives found in some competitors. Additionally, Nissan's extensive service network across Saudi Arabia, Oman, and the UAE ensures easier maintenance than many American or European counterparts.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.5L V6 is a proven workhorse in the region, designed to run efficiently on local petrol grades while delivering a combined fuel economy of approximately 11.4 km/L. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km at authorized centers, which are readily available in every major GCC city. Historically, the Pathfinder retains its value exceptionally well, with Japanese SUVs generally depreciating at a slower rate of 8–10% annually compared to the 15%+ seen in the luxury segment.

Performance & Capability

The 284 hp V6 engine provides effortless acceleration and a 0–100 km/h time of approximately 7.1 seconds, making it one of the more responsive naturally aspirated SUVs in its class. Its front-wheel-drive configuration is optimized for highway efficiency and urban agility, offering a stable and composed ride during high-speed cross-emirate travel. The 9-speed automatic transmission ensures the power is always available exactly when you need it for overtaking on long desert stretches.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Pathfinder focuses on family logistics with tri-zone automatic climate control that keeps every passenger cool even in 45°C summer peaks. The SV trim features upgraded seating materials and acoustic glass that significantly reduces road noise for a quiet, refined cabin experience. Ample cargo space and easy-access seating configurations make it a versatile choice for everything from school runs to weekend getaways.

Safety

This Pathfinder is equipped with Nissan Safety Shield 360, featuring Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Intervention, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. These systems are particularly valuable on fast-moving multi-lane highways where visibility and reaction time are critical. The inclusion of ProPilot Assist adds a layer of safety and convenience by helping the driver maintain lane position and distance from other vehicles during long-distance drives.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer seeking a low-mileage, tech-forward family SUV with a proven reliability record, this 2024 Pathfinder SV is a smarter alternative to a brand-new showroom model.
