Tesla Model 3 PERFORMANCE

Highlights

• 0–100 km/h in 3.1 seconds
• 528 km electric range (WLTP)
• 250 kW peak DC charging standard

Summary

This 2024 Model 3 Performance represents the cutting edge of the 'Highland' refresh, offering significant suspension and cabin refinements over previous versions. With 45,000 km over two years, it has been driven exactly in line with typical GCC annual averages, ensuring it is well-settled without being over-extended. The Performance trim is the most sought-after for enthusiasts in the region, delivering supercar-level acceleration while maintaining the practicality of a daily sedan. Its white exterior is the highest-demand resale color in the UAE and wider GCC, providing excellent heat reflection and long-term value retention. For a buyer looking to transition to electric with zero compromise on speed or tech, this remains the segment benchmark.

This Car vs Other 2024 Model 3s

At 45,000 km, this vehicle is perfectly on-trend for a two-year-old car in the GCC, where the average annual mileage typically reaches 22,500 km. While many used EVs in the market are imported 'American Spec' with questionable histories, this is a genuine GCC spec unit, ensuring full compatibility with local Supercharger networks and authorized service support. The white paint is not only a practical choice for the desert sun but also ensures the strongest possible liquidity when it comes time to resell.

PERFORMANCE vs Lower Trims

The Performance trim is distinguished by its 'Insane' acceleration mode and a unique track-tuned chassis featuring adaptive dampers, a first for the Model 3. Unlike the RWD or Long Range variants, this trim includes upgraded performance brakes with red calipers and 20-inch forged wheels for better heat management during spirited drives. Inside, you get sportier seats with enhanced lateral support and the premium 17-speaker audio system as standard.

Model 3 vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the BMW i4 M50 or the BYD Seal, the Model 3 Performance leads significantly in charging infrastructure accessibility via the Tesla Supercharger network across the UAE and KSA. It offers a more minimalist, tech-forward cabin and superior software integration that rivals struggle to match. Its weight-to-power ratio allows it to outperform much more expensive European electric sport sedans in straight-line speed.

Running Costs & Resale

Running costs are exceptionally low compared to petrol equivalents, with no oil changes or spark plug replacements required. Service in the GCC focuses on cabin filter changes every two years and tire rotations every 10,000 km to manage the high torque output. Resale value for GCC spec Teslas remains robust in the UAE market, typically depreciating at a rate of 12-15% annually, which is highly competitive for the luxury electric segment.

Performance & Capability

The headline figure is the 3.1-second 0-100 km/h sprint, enabled by a dual-motor All-Wheel Drive system producing 513 hp. This power delivery is instantaneous, providing effortless overtaking capability on fast-moving UAE highways like the E11. The top speed is electronically limited to 261 km/h, and the revised 'Highland' suspension ensures much better stability and vibration dampening than earlier models.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for the GCC climate, featuring standard ventilated front seats and a powerful HVAC system that can be pre-cooled via the Tesla app before you enter. The rear passengers benefit from a dedicated 8-inch touchscreen for climate and entertainment control, and the acoustic glass significantly reduces wind noise during long inter-emirate drives. Despite its performance focus, it comfortably seats five with a flat floor and ample legroom.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes Tesla's full ADAS suite, featuring Autopilot for stress-free highway cruising, emergency braking, and blind-spot monitoring. The car's low center of gravity due to the floor-mounted battery pack provides exceptional rollover resistance, contributing to its top-tier safety ratings. Multiple airbags and a high-strength steel and aluminum structure provide peace of mind for family use.

The bottom line

This is the ideal opportunity for a tech-focused driver to own the fastest, most refined Model 3 ever made in the GCC's most popular color, with mileage that perfectly matches its age.
