Summary

This 2025 Ford Taurus Trend represents an exceptional buying opportunity, featuring remarkably low mileage of just 2,552 km, effectively offering a near-new experience at a used market value. As a GCC-spec model, it is purpose-built to handle regional heat with a robust cooling system and dual-zone climate control, while the white exterior remains the most sought-after color for heat reflection and resale value in the Middle East. The Taurus continues to lead the large sedan segment by offering executive-level cabin space and a high-tech interior that rivals premium European competitors. For a GCC buyer, this is the ideal balance of long-distance highway comfort and modern efficiency, backed by Ford's extensive regional service network.

This Car vs Other 2025 Ford Tauruses

With only 2,552 km on the odometer, this Taurus sits significantly below the typical GCC annual average of 20,000 km, making it one of the freshest examples available on the market. The white exterior is a strategic choice for the region, known for its superior heat rejection and consistently high resale demand compared to darker hues. Buying this near-delivery mileage car allows you to bypass the initial steep depreciation of a showroom-fresh vehicle while retaining its pristine mechanical state.

TREND vs Lower Trims

The Trend trim offers a significant comfort leap over the base Ambiente model, most notably adding a dual-zone automatic climate control system that allows front passengers to manage their own cooling—a vital feature during GCC summers. It replaces basic fabric with more durable, easy-to-clean vinyl upholstery and introduces a rearview camera as standard for easier urban parking. Additionally, the Trend includes the power-adjustable driver’s seat, providing a more ergonomic experience for long-distance highway commutes across the Emirates.

Taurus vs Segment Rivals

The Taurus leads rivals like the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord in sheer digital real estate, boasting a massive 13.2-inch touchscreen that defines the modern cabin experience. It also offers a larger 520-litre boot capacity, providing superior practicality for family road trips between Dubai and Muscat. While competitors focus on utility, the Taurus leans into a 'mini-luxury' feel with a longer wheelbase that provides class-leading rear legroom for executive passengers.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.0L EcoBoost engine is highly efficient for its size, achieving a manufacturer-rated 6.5 L/100km on combined cycles, though real-world GCC city traffic may see figures closer to 9 L/100km. Ford maintains a strong authorized service presence throughout the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring parts are readily available and affordable. The Taurus enjoys stable resale value in the GCC due to its popularity as a fleet and family favorite, typically retaining approximately 60% of its value after three years of ownership.

Performance & Capability

Delivering a verified 239 hp and 382 Nm of torque, the EcoBoost powertrain ensures effortless overtaking on fast-moving highways like the E11. The 8-speed automatic transmission is tuned for smoothness, providing a refined ride that masks road noise even at higher cruising speeds. While front-wheel drive, the Taurus features selectable drive modes—Eco, Normal, and Sport—allowing you to sharpen throttle response when navigating through city traffic or entering highway slip roads.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is dominated by a high-resolution digital cockpit, featuring an 8-inch driver display alongside the central 13.2-inch SYNC 4 screen with wireless smartphone mirroring. Dual-zone climate control and dedicated rear air vents ensure all five passengers remain comfortable during peak summer temperatures. The cabin is well-insulated, utilizing acoustic materials to minimize the wind whistle common during high-speed desert drives, creating a quiet environment for the premium audio system.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive on the Trend trim, which comes standard with the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite including Blind Spot Information System (BLIS), Lane Departure Warning, and Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking. It features 6 airbags as standard, providing full-cabin protection, alongside stability control and tire pressure monitoring which are crucial for maintaining safety on variable road surfaces. These active systems make it a top choice for families prioritizing security during long-distance regional travel.

The bottom line

This listing is a perfect match for a professional or family seeking a modern, high-tech executive sedan that is mechanically identical to a new car but available at a more competitive price point.
