Summary

This 2025 Ford Taurus Trend is an exceptional find for the GCC market, offering a nearly new ownership experience with just 1,057 km on the odometer. As a GCC-spec model finished in a versatile Grey—a strong resale color in the region—it provides the perfect balance of executive presence and daily practicality. The Trend trim adds essential regional comforts over the base model, including a dual-panel sunroof and a rear-view camera, making it a highly desirable choice for local buyers. With Ford's reliable EcoBoost power and a refined interior, this sedan is purpose-built for the high-speed highway commutes and extreme temperatures of the UAE and wider GCC.

This Car vs Other 2025 Ford Tauruses

With only 1,057 km, this Taurus sits significantly below the typical GCC annual average of 20,000 km, essentially offering a showroom-fresh vehicle without the new-car price tag. The Grey exterior is one of the most practical and sought-after colors for maintaining value in the local market. Compared to other 2025 listings, this vehicle represents one of the lowest-mileage opportunities currently available for the Trend trim.

Trend vs Lower Trims

The Trend trim is a significant step up from the base Ambiente, introducing features that GCC buyers prioritize for lifestyle and comfort. It upgrades the cabin experience with a dual-panel panoramic sunroof and adds a rear-view camera and rear parking sensors to simplify maneuvering in tight city spaces. Additionally, it features upgraded interior materials and enhanced dual-zone climate control capabilities compared to the entry-level spec.

Ford Taurus vs Segment Rivals

The Taurus leads segment rivals like the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord by offering a larger 13.2-inch infotainment screen and a more powerful 2.0L turbocharged engine as standard. Its 66-litre fuel tank provides a generous cruising range, ideal for long-distance desert highway drives between emirates. The SYNC 4 system is widely regarded as more intuitive and tech-forward than the interfaces found in many Japanese competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

This EcoBoost powertrain achieves a manufacturer-estimated 6.5 L/100km, which is impressive for a large sedan in GCC city traffic. As a GCC-spec Ford, it benefits from an extensive authorized service network including Al Tayer and Premier Motors, with standard service intervals of 10,000 km or 6 months. The Taurus historically holds about 60% of its value after three years in the UAE, outperforming several American and European rivals in the same class.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0L EcoBoost engine delivers a punchy 240 horsepower and 382 Nm of torque, enabling smooth highway overtaking and a top speed of approximately 218 km/h. Paired with a refined 8-speed automatic transmission, the Taurus offers dedicated Eco, Normal, and Sport driving modes to suit everything from dense Dubai traffic to open highway cruising. The front-wheel-drive setup is tuned for stability and comfort, providing a planted feel even at high cruising speeds.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Taurus features a modern digital cockpit with a massive 13.2-inch center display and an 8-inch digital productivity screen for the driver. The dual-zone climate control is engineered for the regional heat, ensuring rapid cabin cooling even during peak summer months. Passengers benefit from generous rear legroom and dedicated rear AC vents, while the dual-panel sunroof adds an airy, premium feel to the entire cabin.

Safety

Safety is a priority with the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite, which includes Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking and a Lane-Keeping system. This trim also features a total of six airbags, tire pressure monitoring, and stability control to handle high-speed highway conditions and sandy road surfaces common in the UAE. Blind-spot monitoring and rear parking sensors provide additional security during lane changes and parking maneuvers.

The bottom line

For the executive or family buyer seeking a low-mileage, tech-heavy sedan with a full GCC warranty and strong resale potential, this 2025 Taurus Trend is a superior alternative to buying new.
