Summary

This 2025 Ford Expedition Tremor represents a significant opportunity to own the brand's most off-road capable flagship with delivery mileage. As the debut year for the Tremor trim in this generation, it combines extreme desert capability with the latest interior tech, making it a standout choice for adventure-led families. The Black exterior is one of the most sought-after colors for resale in the GCC, and its low mileage ensures the vehicle remains in showroom condition. For those cross-shopping full-size SUVs, the Tremor provides a unique bridge between luxury family hauling and genuine weekend dune capability.

This Car vs Other 2025 Ford Expeditions

With just 2,349 km on the odometer, this vehicle is essentially new, offering a significant advantage over typical first-year used examples that often reach 20,000 km in the GCC. The Black-on-Black configuration is a top-tier choice for local resale, ensuring strong demand when you eventually decide to upgrade. Choosing this nearly-new unit avoids the initial steep depreciation while retaining the full benefits of the 2025 model year's major technological overhaul.

TREMOR vs Lower Trims

The Tremor trim replaces the previous Timberline and is the only variant to feature the High-Output engine as standard, providing an additional 40 hp over the Active trim. It adds mission-critical hardware for the GCC environment, including a specialized off-road suspension with a 2-inch factory lift, 33-inch all-terrain tires, and heavy-duty underbody skid plates. Inside, it gains the premium 10-speaker B&O sound system and the exclusive Rock Crawl mode not found on lower road-biased trims.

Ford Expedition vs Segment Rivals

The Expedition Tremor leads rivals like the Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 and Toyota Land Cruiser 300 in towing capacity, offering a massive 4,218 kg rating that is ideal for hauling heavy desert toys or boats. Its 24-inch panoramic digital dashboard is the largest in its segment, providing a level of cabin tech that surpasses the more utilitarian interiors of its Japanese competitors. Additionally, the innovative Ford Split Gate rear tailgate provides a functional advantage for camping and outdoor activities common in the region.

Running Costs & Resale

As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from a comprehensive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring parts and maintenance are never an issue. The 3.5L twin-turbo V6 is optimized for local fuel grades and offers a more efficient alternative to traditional V8 engines during long highway commutes between emirates. Historically, specialized off-road trims like the Tremor hold their value significantly better in the GCC market than base trims due to high demand for desert-ready vehicles.

Performance & Capability

Powered by a High-Output V6 delivering 440 hp and 691 Nm of torque, this SUV achieves 0-100 km/h in approximately 5.9 seconds—unusually quick for an 8-seater. The 269 mm of ground clearance and standard 4WD with a locking rear differential make it a formidable performer in soft sand and rocky wadis. Specialized systems like Trail Turn Assist help manage tight turns on desert tracks, while the 10-speed automatic provides smooth, effortless power delivery for high-speed highway cruising.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for extreme GCC summers, featuring powerful tri-zone climate control and ventilated front seats as standard. The 8-passenger layout provides ample legroom across all three rows, with the 24-inch panoramic display serving as a high-tech centerpiece for the Ford Digital Experience. Acoustic laminate glass and enhanced insulation ensure a quiet interior, isolating passengers from road noise and high exterior temperatures during long-distance family trips.

Safety

This Tremor trim comes standard with Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0, a comprehensive suite including Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go, which is essential for the UAE's busy highways. The 360-degree camera system is particularly useful for maneuvering such a large vehicle in tight urban parking spaces, while Blind Spot Monitoring provides an extra layer of safety during fast-paced highway driving. Its heavy-duty construction and multiple airbags provide top-tier protection for large families.

The bottom line

This is the ultimate choice for a GCC buyer who wants a brand-new 2025 experience without the wait, specifically configured for the region's unique blend of luxury commuting and desert adventure.
